Yes, it is quite true - all of the existing coins cost nothing or at least nearly nothing, when you try to compare the balance of your wallet nowadays and with thr balance of previous years.

It is unwise to compare. In past there was one market situation, but now it is completely different. In fact, the problem is not at all in price, but in the way how traders work. This market situation doesn't interfere with making those who want it. Look at the different trading pairs on different exchanges, they periodically pamp and this can make profit. And if you are not able to trade daily now, then you just will need to receive new knowledge that is necessary for this.

Yes, that is true the price of bitcoin has drastically affected altcoin, some of the altcoin  thousands of it don't worth $1. This has stopped me from partaking in airdrops

unfortunately its happened. bitcoin falling down so many altcoins have price almost near zero. but its normal for this situation in market. I think soon everything will change in good side. But now i agree that need holding coins and dont sell.

Yes thats basically true. In fact majority of alts or coins are worthless in terms of value, demand, and uses. Many scam projects are being created and their creator are just there to take advantage of the investors and the system. It might also be one of the reason why the market is red right now. I think there should be some regulations on creating a project to avoid this event.
