i've read an article about Coincheck's dropping 3 anonymous coin Monero, Dash and Zcash, detail is in the link below

https://cointelegraph.com/news/hacked-exchange-coincheck-drops-three-anonymity-focused-coins-after-fsa-inspection

how a bout your opinion on that news. i think anonymous cryptocurrency have its own advantage, that is protect user privacy, while another like Bitcoin does not

so which one do you prefer, anonymous coin or identitised coin?

I feel anonymous tokens the future is not optimistic, as all countries are going to hit the anonymous tokens, because anonymous tokens, widely used in money laundering, it is not allowed by each country, so I worry for the future of anonymous tokens.

I do not want to comment on coincheck.

Anonymous coins are very important in protecting privacy, there are many advantages that we can use. Easy example is when you want to give pocket money to your children or when you buy an item and want to sell it back, surely we do not want competitors to know the capital of the purchase.

It's just that many users are wrong in the use of anonymous coins, but we must realize that this error is not from the coin, but purely from its users.

Once the coins are stolen there is not much you can do about it. It is easy to convert into anonymous coins so even if they stop listing the top 3 privacy coins, another exchange will do it. Also there is a rise in Decentralised exchanges which has no requirement for know your customer. They should have requested a NEM fork instead.

of course, privacy coins will face many legal challenges as they grow in popularity.
But on the other hand - cash also is a pretty private way of paying for goods.
