* A few of links out might have adult oriented content in this thread.

“By 2025, even drug dealers won’t take cash.”

“ In 2014, we entered a new world.
For the first time in history, card and contactless payments
overtook cash transactions.

South Korea is planning on going cash-free by 2020..

Apple´s CEO Tim Cook says,
“the next generation will not even know what money is”

The death of cash is the result of a plan – to cede control of money
away from the banks and governments, and place it instead in the
hands of the new players:

tech companies.

This plan was hatched as the result of an experiment to prove
something blindingly obvious to anyone who has ever used cash,
but is also an observable neurological process:

SPENDING CAUSES ACTUAL PAIN.

When we pay with cash, neural pathways light up like a Christmas tree.”

“So in creating a payment system that eradicates cash,
we eliminate neural pain – the flinch moment –
and open the brain to limitless spending.

This is, what is going to be.
The future is cashless.
The future is crypto.
We know it,
we see it,
we live it.

“The porn industry makes more money
than the Major League Baseball,
The NFL and The NBA combined.”

We know porn is big.

“According to various reports, at present,
the porn industry’s net worth is about $97 billion.

This is enough to feed at-least 4.8 billion people a day.

Every year, Hollywood releases roughly 600 movies and makes $10 billion in profit.

And how much porn does the industry make?

13,000 films and close to $15 billion in profit.”
* https://medium.com/@Strange_bt_True/how-big-is-the-porn-industry-fbc1ac78091b

Porn is big.. and boring.
As long as you´re not the one who profits from it.
Or at least until you’ve heard about LEONS.

..

“There were over eight thousand separate currencies in operation in the US alone. Different banks, railroads and retailers all had their own form of money: bonds, exchange systems, numerous forms of credit, by the 1860s.
The National Bank Act of 1863 tried to end this fragmented chaos and unify the United States under one currency: the dollar.
With the end of cash, the world of eight thousand currencies is returning.

Mobile money, bitcoin, digital vouchers, Apple Pay, iTunes, exchangeable shop credits, everything from overseas currency transfers to billion-dollar deals with the digital handshake of blackchain. All of it is money.”

I know there are plenty of ICOs, hundreds per month, maybe per week even..
Many adult coins, porn tokens. Some market their teams, some a few nice pics, some - alpha versions of their platforms, many are intended for use on web cam sites, many claim to be the one coin for the entire or a big part of the adult industry.
I wish each of them good luck.. but I know.. Many of them will fail.

“From July 1 through September 25th 2017, 51 ICOs launched with high hopes, yet failed to meet their own objectives. These represented an astounding 59% failure rate for all ICOs during that time period.”
* https://hackernoon.com/most-icos-fail-tale-of-two-worlds-d1ab7625ff66

Check this one: “What Percentage of ICOs Fail?” by Charles Bovaird:
https://medium.com/rightmesh/why-most-ico-projects-will-fail-hint-it-is-not-why-you-think-a56e25b1902b
BUT check this one, too, from Business Insider UK:
http://www.businessinsider.de/ico-mangrove-capital-average-returns-crypto-icos-2017-10?r=UK&IR=T
“No wonder investors are rushing into cryptocurrencies — average ICO returns are 1,320%”

So, there is failure, but there is big return chance as well.
About failure, About what we have done, what we already have at hand and what area we are speaking of, what I can say and believe is, LEONS will not fail.
Still, it depends on the support of the people: You.

If you like the idea, concept, what I, with my team, have done, what I do, what I try to accomplish, if we can show you, prove to you, if you want to join in, support it, all will be great. More than we can imagine, today.
You can follow on the site all progress closely: www.leonscoin.com by checking the roadmap and the latest news and developments.
At the moment, we are mainly focusing on the ICO, to make it successful and can use all the support we can get.

We will go step by step but with every step taken things will go bigger, faster and smoother.

The second thing, is to roll out an alpha version, even with limited and basic functions, but still working on the blockchain, giving access to the platform to the people who supported us, LEONS owners, investors, to show them that we are already working and to make them participate in the whole thing, live, as we intended in the first place. The ideas, even with the support from programmers and investors might be, or anybody from cameraman, to post production, can and could be involved in new content producing, too, as we will be releasing new content, especially for the sites which were and are labeled as “coming soon”. (Some LEON Sites, LEONS.WORLD sites had and have already created “members areas” and have original exclusive content. Some sites have raw materials, shootings, videos, pictures, like days` of 100s of TBs raw content from cameras to stored, some sites have shooting plans written and many things arranged, like IBIZA ROX (www.ibizarox.com), or Queen of Mallorca (www.queenofmallorca.com) , and PreCum Challenge`s (www.precumchallenge.com) later steps must be shot at their places)

LEONS will be a game-changer.

I believe, personally, in that stage, we will be unbeatable with the real and solid support from many different sources and the real work about the platform will have a boost with new hires and new joins. In addition, as the content of LEONS would already be shareable, viewable, “usable” for early investors, they can start participating in other areas like the “mining” and or “posting” their own content. That will be great.

Then, at the same time, we will be able to list the token on exchanges as we will have the solid support from our backers, to make LEONS, into a coin which is exchangeable, buyable and sellable, like other alt coins.

Porn has potential.

Damon Brown says:
““It seems so obvious: if we invent a machine, the first thing we are going to do — after making a profit — is use it to watch porn.”

We invented blockchain, and the future is Crypto.

If there’s a way for the hosting problem to be solved, if there’s a way for the content to be regulated by its own creators, if everybody could join the system from their own computer, smart phone, wherever he or she is, that would change everything.
Now, this is possible.

That would be a merge similar to when smart phones merged the phone with music players, and the camera, calendar, calculator, and then they merged our contacts, bringing our friends, us, together, live and now we cannot picture a reality without these features… but if you would ask a person about these 20 years ago, they wouldn`t know what they are missing.

Now, it’s the same with adult entertainment.

We have blockchain, we have porn, we have the bandwidth, unused disk spaces, we have cloud systems, we have content but we cannot go into this, as investors or producers, or even as idea owners, or just people who want to be a part of it, and contribute to it.

Only a few people and companies have access and to me, it seems like they will repeat the same things, as long as it works. It`s like “cable phones”, it was working for years. It`s still working but the smart phone revolution, social media, us, we changed the whole thing.

We need that change in adult industry.

Whoever can do the merge, whoever can bring a platform, on which you can enjoy porn, be a part of it without revealing your identity, whoever brings cashless but direct join rights, without middlemen to the end user, who can be the real contributor into the system, will own the future.

We can do it.
We will do it.

Your Leon,

Leon Lambert

This topic makes no sense to me at all. Topics like these are a very big spoiler for Bitcoin. You see no future at  all, cause you’re too blind to see. How can you be using drug dealers, porn and illegal business as reference. Such does not promote Bitcoin, it will make people see Bitcoin as a ponzi and as something that is only being used by criminals and drug dealers and porn addicts. You all should always try to make use of your senses when posting stuffs like this. By the way, real currencies are the future and you can’t change that.

I agree. It touches too many points without having a clear structure. It would be more interesting if OP talked about cashless society, porn, ICOs etc. shorter and better structure. The points are interesting, but the writing is bad.

cash-less doesn't mean it will be replaced by cryptocurrencies. and it certainly doesn't mean no government control. and making it into a long wallet of text, bolding and coloring it won't change that!

cash-less means we are going to move on to digital form instead. what we use is not going to change, but only the shape of it. in other words we will still be using the same fiat that we have used for hundreds of years but now with credit cards, with our cell phones, with cryptocurrencies which are centralized and issued by the government and represent the same fiat.

and your title is completely irrelevant to all this.

OP,i agree with your theory that a cashless society will lead to more spending. But this would mean more debt and more poverty. Many banks and corporations don`t want a cashless society. They want a CONTROLLED and centralized cashless society.Cryptocurrencies will be only for the outsiders.Your idea about combining cryptocurrencies, blockchain and the porn industry isn`t new and innovative. You will have to stand out from the crowd and beat the competition. If you want to promote your project, there are other child boards in this forum, that are more suitable.

You are right.Same fiat money would be in the form of digital currency most of which would be issued and controlled by the appropriate governments. This would not give any sort of financial freedom to people. They would still be under the radar of government authorities.

Cashless economy would only benifit common man if bitcoin like crypto currencies get used massively and I don't hope that governments would allow such economic activities to occur unquestioned.

Correct. Cashless payments are already trending around the world which are not cryptocurrency but as you said Credit cards and mobile payments. Shifting to digital media has been the focus of many governments for past few years, a regulated cryptocurrency created by some government is also on the horizon, IMO.

According to data provided by financial institutions, 'plastic money', meaning either credit card or bank card payments, accounted for +60% of the payments made, and like 20% was paid via smartphone apps utilizing NFC.

In other words, less than 20% of the 'real' world transactions are being conducted non digitally, and within 10 years cash transactions will account for less than 10%, and that's a great development.

Even bazaars allow digital payments. I like this transition, but it just shows how we are going to heavily depend on centralized services for these payments, which is the only negative aspect of the world becoming more digital.

I agree with that position. Exactly such bad reputation was Bitcoin having at the begininig, as dirty illegal curr, but I thought we have overcome such approach. It seems there are still some relicts of it.
But it's true, we are heading towards cashless society and this is the future that will come very soon, sooner then we think. This has positive and negative aspects as everything else but it's up to us how is realy going to function.

It's too obvious that is would happen. Everything is going digital so why won't money be part of the digital revolution? Paper would be obsolete and so is other manual and primitive ways we have. The world is changing, and the old ways are slowly dying and being replaced by technological advancements. The would must adopt to changing times. And the future is bright for cryptocurrencies in my opinion.

I agree with you on the need of being more careful about posting stuff like this, especially when it comes to mentioning "drug dealers" and "crypto" in the same topic..

Future is crypto in payments but not only that, blockchain will invade the world, sooner than we think.

It`s like electric cars. Soon diesel will be history. "Benzine" (Fuel / Gas) will be antique for cars. Very very soon like in a few years.

However, the change takes time. As you see, for example PR works, like sending an electro cabriolet to the space, needed some money and time and need some time for us regular people to digest.

When we see electro cars on our roads, more than other type of cars, which is in 5-6 years at most in majority of western world, we will be less depend on cash in payments.

Same for cryptocurrency. It`s coming after last year`s big PR works. This year it will go down, like hitting the old positions from last year, like our seeing 5-6K in Bitcoin, or for ripple 35-40 cents, or for Ethereum 300-400 USD, just normal for gaining time for new players, new people to join and benefit and use more, benefit from it more.

Also for the tech companies, groups, people, to give them time to join and a part of this revolution.

Real currencies were the past and party now. I`m not trying to change that. You and I are changing that already by being here, by reading and writing about these.

This post was never intented to be about drug dealers, but I repeat what I quotes, by 2025 EVEN, even, EVEN, the drug dealers will not use cash.

still interesting.

yes, giving a title to "this" was the hardest part.

Very good point, and I totally agree on "cashless"

Shapes are changing. Mentalities are shaping and changing. Means of "money" or whatever we call it is changing but the physical situation stays the same.

Just like we need to communicate. We use smoke. Then messengers.. but when we have tel lines, we use them. Not immediately, not in  1 day is all this change.

I like one example about this is, the cars. From horse carriages to the cars, it took many years for people to get it. Some even hated it.

Now about electric cars. They are awesome. Really I got a Tesla once and it was really really the most fun toy I had. It`s very different than the normal cars. It had 421 HP (310 kW), and before that I had a car like 184 HP. 421 HP, without any gears and direct electric power is something like you`re Thor.

So, when it`s available, and affordable, economical, people will choose electric cars definitely.

Not all. Not in 1 day.

However, when that option is available and accepted by more, the rest will shape about that.

You can still use a mobile phone which is not smart when there is iPhone or Google Phones available with this and that.. you can still "not" use any mobile phone when majority of the people in society use iphones..

We can show many examples, like WiFi.. Facebook, or internet itself.

When I say, "cashless" and there will be no cash, I don`t mean that some power or somebody (Thor?) will come push you to use crpyto or take all your cash from your pockets or from your back. You (me, he, she) will do it already as it will not be the best option to go with.

indeed.

We are trying on other parts but still I would like to mention these, here, too, as personally these are very much interesting topics for me and I would like to hear from people (thank you and thanks to all respected people who replied to my post here)

Let`s forget about our project or me, whoever I am, to have respect where we are, as you suggested (for being in this part of the Forum) and let me continue with the economics and "metrics" part:

Ripple is a good example, Davis.. That is so obvious that behind it many big companies, banks etc. They are not hidden. They don`t have any reason to hide. I suppose, there will be a few more, there will be a NEED for more like these.

For example, there is Alta Vista, in 90s.. a search engine, and Netscape Navigator as browser and Hotmail as mail service, with 1 MB free for everybody.

Then, Google came and made Yahoo and Alta Vista dead, Firefox and Chrome is already here, and instead of Hotmail, we use gmail (gmail started with 1 GB free space when hotmail provided 1 MB, 1 of 1000 of that)

What I try to say is, there will be big companies but what will make those companies big will be our choices, too. Not directly, not we will choose them, still, as in Apple example, they made iPhone and iPhone made them this big. It doesn`t matter or no subject here, Steve Jobs or Wozniak, or Apple`s history, I`m just saying that, now, what is needed is important. Like IOTA: if Internet of Things become more but much more important, than our guys in Berlin will become much more popular as MIOTA prices will go much high, which mean we sponsor them, we support them (we = companies, people who demand that and also physically go and get MIOTA with our BTC or USD or whatever but eventually who makes MIOTA prices up and give back up to a tech company behind it)

"What is needed" that is important. If there will be self driven cars and if they need to communicate with each other over internet of things and if this will have a vital and very much important role on the roads, for these cars to become safe, MIOTA (under normal conditions) should be much much more bigger.

Just like that in any sector, any industry, tech related companies will invade the world and will be much more involved in our lives. That means, "cashless" and more digital, but also, more independent companies and or groups`, more smaller ones, to be in need of working together.

Smaller nodes, bigger network. That is what is already on its way.

cash-less means we are going to move on to digital form instead. what we use is not going to change, but only the shape of it. in other words we will still be using the same fiat that we have used for hundreds of years but now with credit cards, with our cell phones, with cryptocurrencies which are centralized and issued by the government and represent the same fiat.
At least OP is right that we probably won't use paper cash by that time.
The death of cash is the result of a plan – to cede control of money
away from the banks and governments, and place it instead in the
hands of the new players:
tech companies.

They won't succeed in that plan since banks and government will try their best to have control over fiat currencies. Although that is the case, you are right that tech companies are the ones who will have more authority in a world where digital cash is used.
SPENDING CAUSES ACTUAL PAIN.
When we pay with cash, neural pathways light up like a Christmas tree.”
“So in creating a payment system that eradicates cash,
we eliminate neural pain – the flinch moment –
and open the brain to limitless spending.
Oh really? I think that will not open the brain to limitless spending(since it is still hard to earn money).

".. Back at MIT, Drezen Prelec`s research into the neural pain of cash should have served as a warning that we were about to enter a fathomless, glittering new world of untethered online spending. Instead, his work unwittingly signed the death warrant on cash. Cash, he says, is the one thing that firmly tethers us to spending within our means. "You want to know how out of kilter we are with our spending?" he tells me when we meet. "Try using only cash for one week. Buy everything with it. Pay your mortgage with it. Look at a thousand dollars as a mountain of cash. You will never treat money the same way again."

I also agree with the ideas here, it was better if we could find some more suitable things for our time than porn and drugs. At the moment there are so many countries and companies that make without cash payments. Maybe they want to tell that want to pay with the card, not with cryptocurrencies. You may have misunderstanding.

I do not see the point of paying for porn when it can be viewed for free. I think such projects will not be a huge success and not bring a permanent profit.
