To clarify with other members, because ever since the SR shut down (possibly before), I've seen a huge rise in the use of financial terminology, when I know the majority of this forum are just bitcoin enthusiasts who trade minimal amounts.. and are not experts (myself included):
Capitulation: When investors give up any previous gains in stock price by selling equities in an effort to get out of the market and into less risky investments. True capitulation involves extremely high volume and sharp declines. It usually is indicated by panic selling.
