I noticed that most ICO's will end on May. Is there something wrong? Or they just avoiding the decrease in price?

didn't notice that. probably they just need money before summer starts. so they can spend it on yachts and that kind of stuff lol

Maybe because summer is the best period for vacations. So the probabality that some person will invest is less then it is e.g. on autumn or spring.
I remember there were not so many avtive ICOs at the beginning of January comparing with december ICOs amount.

It's just a coincidence. Different ico starts every day and ends in a month after starting.

Yeah deffinatelly coincidence because like the user above me told, you have so much ICOs starting everyday, we will have tham A BUNCH this year as this has become new kickstarter for companyes, even the company that has nothing to do with blockchain is comeing up with icos to collect money

Because we are still in bearish market that is why they extended to may so that if there are bullruns they can maximize what they have raised,are you going to sell your bitcoins in bearish market? no,because you arent going to have good returns that is the logic behind these extended ICOs,nothing to worry about because we can still get profits from bearish market. |

Aint gonna sell my bitcoins,holding it until some good bullrun happens because the lightning network is coming so we need to stick with bitcoin if you know what i mean.ICOs wont get any good investors when bearish market has come,most of the investors are scared to do invest in bear market because there are less chances that the ICO will achieve its success compare to bull market.

The market will goes to bull as soon as the lightning network announced,because it is now ready and just waiting for a good announcement.Bull runs happens on the second quarter of the previous years that is why msot of the ICOs are going to end on may because most of the investors are eager to invest whenever bull run happens.

I totally agreed no investors are willing to put their money to these projects even if these projects are good,because bear markets will give them uncertainty when it comes to the gains,everybody doesnt love to invest when a bull season comes that is why most of these ICOs are being postponed or cancelled when the bearish market comes. |

i dont think so
you can follow ICOs from kickico and icodrops websites
when i look at the market, it is better they wait until stabilization for new ICOs
otherwise they cant get anyone to contrubute...it is a blood bath market and i blieve it can take up to a year until a new bull run

Neither the investors nor these ICOs doesnt want to fail,that is why they are moving or postponing the ICO and bounties to may,because historically april to june would be a bull season but lets hope that this year it would be longer season because our first quarter was indeed fucked up by the bears i lost 70% of my portfolio but im going to HOLD this until the bulls has come.

Most of ICOs end on May because there is only 1.5 months left until May. As most of ICOs usually last about 1-2 months, it is normal. On May you will see that most of ICOs will end on July.
I think you are noticing only to live ICOs.

ICO's only go on for so long. They don't want to stretch out the process in order to create FOMO. You don't want to have an open-ended ICO. |
