Interest check: should I spend time developing an updated version of MyFaucet that supports earlier PHP versions, fixes cosmetic bugs, and adds a balance indicator to visitors?

In regards to balance indicator - definitely! best if you even force this to be displayed by default - will help people decide whether its worth trying to cash out their balances instead of loosing it whenever the faucet is dry...
