Try PM Cyrus as well. Not sure if it's going to help, but worth a try.

Did you get banned because your account was used to spam or used to spread virus links, or was it just that you tried to reset your password through a security question and thus got your account locked?

It's not as simple because your account was used to post links to viruses, and you can't really prove that that's not you.

BTW, the unedited post containing the address is posted on 26th Dec, the exact same date your account apparently got locked/hacked. You should provide signed messages from addresses older than that.

I tried to write PM Cyrus the answer no from him
banned My account was used for spam or for distribution of virus links by the swindler
Here is the unedited post where I posted that address  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2392952.msg26959655#msg26959655
This address is in the incoming messages in the PM with PM ID=1341464
when the account was blocked, if the server bitcointalk.org stored IP address you can see that there was a login from different IP addresses. I have a static address does not change for several years
at the moment I have access to the account, I changed the password, but the account itself is in read mode, if you can help me will be grateful

I believe with time your account will be unlocked. In the main time, you can continue with what you have to work with for now, until it is unlocked. I wished your account can be unlocked. Theymos might be busy at the moment with other things.

What didn't I get is how to prove your ownership with a signed message? I have bitcoin address in my profile, but the hacker can easily replace it with his own. Sorry for a noob question.

You can search for it here in the meta section, stake your bitcoin address as a proof when your account get hack, but it is only just an option to prove. Post your bitcoin address and ask others to quote it for future reference. You can prove ownership with a signed message depends on the wallet. Bitcoin core and electrum Can provide it if I am not mistaken since I am not using it.

Thank you, I replied to that thread. If it is the only way to confirm the ownership then I see why it takes months to get back your account.

Can't we implement something like SMS authentification? I know, being bitcoin forum is kinda cool to use the signed messages but implementation is wierd and not straightforward. Securing my account is only my responsibility, I get that. But it won't hurt to be a little more user-friendly and foolproof.

when someone accesses your account and makes a spam newsletter, it will be difficult/impossible to prove that it wasn't you who did it, as in my case, I don't even know if I can ever get unlocked my account

The fact that your account was banned for distributing malware makes it unlikely that it will ever get recovered. So, yeah, just a heads up in case you're still hoping.
