I've got my eyes on a laptop and I'd like to buy it using bitcoins through a proxy buyer.

The laptop is around 650 USD, can be bought on ebay, buy.com and newegg (once they get it back in stock).

I'm up for negotiation, but was thinking about 900 bitcoins in exchange for the whole thing.

Any takers?

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I removed my comment because on second thought I don't want to promote this website in anyway.

Isn't there someone who could sell a laptop to TheKid?

Well, not any laptop, a specific model - Acer Aspire AS5552G-7632

Thanks for the show of support!  Grin

The ebay seller does, but I don't believe buy.com does. As an added bonus, they might not charge tax if you don't live where they have to tax you.
