Bidding will end 3-25-18 at 11:59PM CST. The ads will run from 12:00AM CST 3-26-18 to 11:59PM CST 4-01-18.

We have 9 slots available to advertise in our top banners for FreeBitcoins.com.  These banners are displayed to all of our users (mobile/computer/tablet).

Bidding style:

Post your bids in this thread. Prices must be stated in BTC per slot. You must state the maximum number of slots you want. When the auction ends, the highest bidders will have their slots filled until all nine slots are filled.

So if someone bids for 9 slots @ 1 BTC and this is the highest bid, then he'll get all 9 slots. If the two highest bids are 9 slots @ 4 BTC and 1 slot @ 5 BTC, then the first person will get 8 slots and the second person will get 1 slot.

The notation "2 @ 5" means 2 slots for 5 BTC each. Not 2 slots for 5 BTC total.

Bids must be divisible by .001

Each bid extends the auction 30 minutes when there is <30 minutes remaining in the auctions.  (Snipe prevention)

There is one slot shown at a time in order to keep the website clean.

Each slot has the weight of 1 out of 9.

Ah so essentially there won't be a 10th slot which is a non-advert/in house content. Well currently have no use for advertising but I guess will keep it in mind if I ever do. Good Luck with the sales

Shit, I never thought about the 10th slot Bitcointalk uses , but you are right.  There are only 9 slots for both top and bottom... those slots are used by purchasers and any unsold slots are used by the company.

I didn't like the idea of the company using up a sellable banner space as compared to a link at the bottom of every page for "Advertise with us!".
