Here is the deal:

I am using cgminer and it has been working well for weeks.

I just added Ubuntu Unrestricted Extras and it removed libavcodec53 and libavutil51

I fired up mining ANC and it was getting its normal 500-600 kh/s on the single gpu. Now, I fired it up again and it wont go over 15kh/s, mostly staying around 10kh/s

WTF!

Can someone tell me wtf is going on and do I absolutely need to have those other dependencies for cgminer to work? I didnt have to install those to get it running

linux is by no means my strong point but try uninstalling the drivers and re installing sometimes the drivers get messed up if something changes the system
