I would say that the drop is only temporary and bitcoin will continue to prosper especially that we have gone to digitalized era. It is in the nature of te value of bitcoin to drop once in a while due to its volatility and a good opportunity even to invest.
Do not panic sell your bitcoin earnings as it only contributes to the dump which drops the value even more, knowledge is a first in this field.

The news in term of development are actually decent, with LN getting closer to a release, so I think this is just temporary.  The rapid downfall might be just a result of the continuous panic selling that is happening right now which do entirely contributes to the changes happening not just in the price of Bitcoin but also on the entire virtual market. If we will be taking up such actions to somehow prohibit or lessen the panic selling which contributes to the rapid downfall. I think that Bitcoin was really that temporary because there is no such thing that can lasts up forever but the price down we are experiencing now is also just that temporary so what we are suffering right now can put up into an end. |

I think there are alot of answers already in this thread and in different threads too about the same topic so here goes. I think why crypto currencies' prixes dropped because when the price peaked people sold their coins and waits fornyhe market to crash to buy thensame amount of coin or more.

Yes, the only stable on crypto market is the changes of coin's value because crypto coins are very volatile for any market changes and movement and that is because there are a lot of people around the world who engage in buying and selling bitcoin and that's the reason of why it is volatile, if the price is going then there are more dumping happen due to selling activity, so if there are lot of bitcoin dumped by the whales or the traders then its price abruptly down. |

It is just not about the people that sold their bitcoin because it is more often about the news that is related to bitcoin because if there is a bad news then it will have a huge impact to the market of cryptocurrencies and instead of thinking of selling we should keep buying until we had enough bitcoins for long term investment. |

There are so many reasons for rapidly bitcoin going down. Many false news comes about bitcoin like bitcoin is going to ban. Hereafter the price will not increase like this news make people get panic to hold bitcoin. Now people afraid to invest or hold the bitcoin. They are ready to sell their bitcoins and investors not ready to invest. Due to these reasons the supply of bitcoin is limited. This would make bitcoin price rapidly going down.

Maybe a lot of people who panic bitcoin then sell it simultaneously and sell at cheap prices cheap.
The price of Bitcoin varies directly with demand that is why when demand increases then high market favors and when demand decreases then low market will favor. This is the sudden action and the price rapidly moves with the demand fluctuations because Bitcoin has not spread fully but in half of the world, this will make the price stable if half of the other people adopt Bitcoin as well. |

Maybe the bitcoin price has dropped dramatically due to several causes such as many bans in some countries in the world and also probably the early-year effects that bitcoin g is always down and the worse the bitcoin price drops due to the news or negative issues that greatly affect the bitcoin price.

Well, I do not see that Bitcoin price is going down. What is am watching now is that it is fluctuating. Up and down, and again up. However, the market is rather stable - the cryptocurrency does not decrease a lot. |

It is possible to count many factors in this regard, but I see it especially as far away as the new users are moving away from bitcoin. As I mentioned before, panic sales are having a huge impact.

Basically I think for Two reasons for bticoin price rapidly going down. Here is 2 reasons
1. Some false news effect for bitcoin prices.
2. Some country are banned bitcoin for this effect bitcoin price getting down.
