MtGox doesn't really count because it's inflated.

Coinbase (I believe they are the second biggest Bitcoin exchange in the US - although they publish no volume data) just reached an ask price of $202+: https://coinbase.com/charts

While it is true that it is difficult to remove fiat from some exchanges, this does not mean that people are not willing to pony up fiat for bitcoin purchases. A bitcoin purchased from MT Gox for $200 still cost someone $200.

Anyway, my comment is: $200 is the new $100.
