I used Bitcoin in 2011 and 2012 to acquire ... questionable pharmaceutics.

I stop using, but I have no idea how to log on and check to see if my account still has any value.  Is there a website I can check, a way to see if I still have funds to spend?

You need to give us more info. How exactly did you use Bitcoin then? What wallet did you use? There are different kinds of wallets with different ways of accessing them. If you only have your old Bitcoin address, you will be able to see if it has Bitcoin through a block explorer, but you won't be able to access it.

I'm going to assume that you stored them in an exchange since you're talking about 'accounts'? If you have no idea about the email address you used back then, your funds are sadly lost. If you do have access and you know which exchange (assuming that it's not closed/hacked) then you shouldn't find much trouble and I believe that only BTC-E and Bittrex existed back then and still functional today.

I am going to make an assumption and say you have some leftover BTC and are trying out how to check its value? In that case you can either check coinmarketcap for the value of BTC * how much you have. Either that or use https://blockchain.info/ to check your account balance.

If you still know your wallet address, then you'd be able to see if it has any funds in it. If you've lost the wallet altogether the coins could still be there but you wouldn't be able to access them. So the only way it would have value is if you had the private key / password if it's an online wallet.

Got it?

You need to give us more details about the investment. What problems are you facing while logging on in your account ? There will be options like resetting the password and that requires you to have access to the email you used for registering the account on that exchange. If nothing works, try dropping a mail to the exchange with all details.
