GamersOnlineCoin a coin made by gamers for gamers.
Launch date: 23 March 2018 exactly at midnight (24:00).
GamersOnlineCoin.GOC for us is a project to see how far we can go as a community of gamers.
The coin is designed to be used for trading game related items/skins/currency and more.
The premine will be solely used for bounty programs, we will be as transparent about this as possible.
Meaning we will keep a list on the website for every trade made and for what purpose they have been used.
The total amount of mined blocks before launch is 1001, this is a total of 101.000.000 coins or 10.1% of the max coin supply.
Will this coin make you rich quick?Probably not, because the coin is meant to be for virtual goods. Think about Skins that we have made for games or In-game items/currency and more.
If you are looking for a coin that might make you rich quick we suggest you look elsewhere. We are just a group of gamers as stated before and we will
only be supporting the trade of virtual goods. There might be some goods for trade with fiat money value but those offered by us will only appear
sporadically. There have been many coins before us who promised the moon but we don't intend to join them on this, we like to keep it real.
How did the coin start?We are a group of gamers that have been playing games for a lot of years(some of us have a degree in this field).
Most of us have also been following and buying cryptocurrency since 2012. We would talk about cryptocurrency almost daily but it wasn't until 2016
that we finally decided to start our own coin. The reason we made the coin is because we would like to see how far a gaming community driven coin can get.
We might go very far and we might not, but we are going on an adventure at least.
Why is the official launch so late compared to the 1st mined block?Sadly our lead on this project had some unexpected things occur in real life at that time. This is rather personal so we can't say more but that is why we had to delay the project.
This also the reason why we will upload everything on launch day (wallet, github etc).
Will there be more bounty programs?Yes there will be bounty programs until all the coins from the premine are spend.Yes but the pre-mine has been removed, now we will keep trading and pool mining as we try to find other ways to get more coins that can be used for bounty programs.
