Excellent news and a very timely one! I hope to see some bullish trend in the market very soon. It is now proved that cryptocurrency can't be ignored anymore. The way it is spreading worldwide, Governments will have to accept it at some point of time in future. But I am surprised to see that such kind of comments came from USA because they are not really a very crypto friendly country, especially in terms of ICO. But better let than never! I already see 2018 will be the year for crypto currency adoption.

The Congress wants to use the blockchain technology to make the US gov "more efficient" but too late, there is nothing able to do that for the USA. The mess is too big now. The last date to get the chance to do it was during JFK.

I would not agree that this is excellent news for cryptocurrency,in their report the main focus has been on blockchain.Just read titles : Blockchain Looks Like the New Internet / Blockchain Is Secure and Efficient / Blockchain May Transform Many Industries and I think that they are will not so easy to give up the dollar.In short, we see the potential, but we do not want to lose control.

I also think USA is not too hostile toward cryptocurrency,biggest number of worlds BTC ATMs are located in that country.Regarding ICO I support very strict supervision and control,too much SCAM is involved in that sector.

They are actually friendly towards cryptocurrency because if USA is not a crypto-friendly country they could have ban the trade of it for a long time but they resort to regulation which in fact a good thing for us but not for some since the enthusiasm of old investors is due to the fact that bitcoin bring us financial freedom but it's becoming more impossible due to those laws.

Wow!what a great news i heard now,so this means that not all times,that the government of united States always,looking the negative  side of the cryptocurrency or always monitored those money laundering,or using the cryptocurrency in crime or illegall activities,therefore  i can conlcude that even the U.S congress can appreciatte the goodness doing of cryptocurrency toward the economic growth and social responsibility.

this is why we could see the price is tanking a little bit hard compared to before.
(yeah even though the price went down significantly compared to before,it happened because of euphoria.
we were hyping it and pushing the price from $800 to $19.000 in a single year and hoping for another movement)
but nothing wrong with it,right now Bitcoin already made their advertisement by pusing the price to the bottom and attracting another newly investor to join the community.
it's just matter of time to see another ATH again.
