International BlockchainUA Conference to be held in Kiev on 23 March 2018 will attract more than 1,000+ attendees.

The BlockchainUA conference aims to draw in a general crowd to inform participants, to build a strong community, and to boost the buzz around Ukraine at an international level.
Our mission is to make the event accessible for as many people as possible while providing the right level of organization - we're providing food and coffee breaks during the event, access to the afterparty, videos of all the talks, networking, and much more.
From the outset we've laid down the key principles for the conference:
• We don’t accept paid talks
• We restrict startup/product announcements to a designated startup pitch stage
• Companies who already have a working product can present their achievements and roadmaps
• We don’t promote ICO tokens
• This is an educational and networking event - by default, speakers are expected to give an educational/helicopter view of their expertise
• It's a not-for-profit conference, so we try to keep ticket prices low
• The audience consists of broad crowd - including technology experts, entrepreneurs, investors, bankers, students, regulators and others.

On March 24 and 25, the fourth All-Ukrainian Blockchain Hackathon will be held in Kyiv, where the teams will develop a prototype of their project, which will be closely related to the cryptology. In order to help teams organizers will provide mentors, which are experts in the blockchain industry. It’s possible that winner's prototype will be a breakthrough in the ecosystem of the blockchain projects. Winners will receive prizes from sponsors and organizers. Is Vitalik Buterin coming?
I like that the focus is more on technological aspects of blockchain and general use potential of the technology. And they will not give space for ICO promotions.
$53 price is affordable which is not always the case with similar conferences, sometimes they are really expansive.

Yes, sometimes conferences are more expensive, even in Kyiv and even with worse organization. In comparison - in 2 days will be another conference in another place and price is 2 times higher. But what I don't like is that they announced Roger Ver while he is not coming, he will speak by skype..

BlockchainUA should be great conference that's why I share info and will attend it myself.

Thanks for kind invitation for a meetup but I would need a 2 hour flight there and I think it's too much hassle for me to organize the trip to Ukraine in this short time.

Good, I also heard that it was great event.
Actually I fell sick, and didn't attend but I managed to give ticket to a friend and he said that was the best conference he even been)
Today was also good conference.

That's one more reason why we need to have a separate Ukrainian sub-forum here, to discuss all these events and other topics in details and not in 1 thread

the conference on blockchain should have the figure heads of the blockchain technology in attendance, i am talking about the likes of vitalik buterin, and other faces of other cryptocurrencies. it will serve as a strength for those who just came to observe what it is like. the comments of figures like that will also be of great importance and assurance to attendees
