The encrypted market was devastated by these ico scams. The fraud must be cleaned up. The encryption market, though, has no clear regulations. However, in order to develop the blockchain, investors and project sponsors should abide by the moral bottom line.

Well, its widely known that investing in ICOs in general is a challenging and dangerous "sport", but investing in ICOs in this bear market worsens the previous made claim five fold. Approach with caution and only invest in ICOs that are hard to get into / there is a demand for them.

the more the ICO would certainly make things more difficult. not to mention the ICO has almost the same concept then it would make a lot of choices so that the investor will make the ICO does not reach the target for their sales. This makes a lot of ICO began to fall away and less promising. There was also a successful and great but true indeed needs to be selective in choosing. not to mention a lot of scams that is in ICO began increasingly to make things get bad enough.

I believe that it's not at all in crypto projects but in the crypto market itself. Regarding investors to investing, why now invest in a crypto project, if later you can buy crypto coins at a crypto exchange.

Some of the ICOs this year are very bad. Examples are Vestarin which was almost a scam and Uchit which was already a scam. I hope these kind of incidents don't happen again.

For now I love taking part in three ICO projects this year, and I'm losing money. One project began to be discarded upon entry into the stock, and I even carefully studied team development and development before taking part in the project.

I expect they're talking about ones who didn't have a successful ICO. Obviously there's dozens of new ones every day so they won't all raise the money needed.

News headline says "76% of This Year’s ICOs Are Already Under Water"  and most of these are ICOs launched at the first quarter of this year.
If you’re going to invest in an ICO, then, the message is clear: be selective, choose blockchain projects over anything else and make sure you get into the pre-sale. Otherwise, you’ll be wasting your time and your ethereum.

Wrong, what do you expect for ICO that just only finished crowdfunding ? A 5x coin price from ICO?
ICO is a long term investment. Every project in ICO have roadmap, they will develop their project.
Once their product used by many peoples, their coin price will be increased. That is your time to collect the profit.

Ok, when what is the advantage to buy coins on ICO, if I can just buy them after ICO on decentr exchanges, or just buy altoicns which are tradeable on major exchanges?

ICO is half dead today due to so many projects entered to the market. Investors are confused what is the right project to invest. Some legit icos are turn to scam - due to not reaching the desire soft and hard cap. It is always wise to look the whitepaper and roadmaps before joining the ico.

Maybe there is reality about this news headlines as you stated that's mostly ICO of this year is under water which is means everythings is going to submerged, therefore in this situation now, being wise and gumptious is important in order to survive in this crucial time of cryptocurrency investment system.

The problem with a lot of ICO is able to solve only the regulators, but while the market ICO is working without them. I hope that in the near future they will appear . Then investors will be much easier to make your choice in favor of one or another ICO

The percentage is always about the same, of the 100% of projects, 20% have chances of existence, of these 20% only 5% -7% will be able to gain a foothold in the market and realize their goals.
All other 80% white noise or scum.

Yes, most of this year's ICO is a loss. I only invested three projects this year, and last year I invested twenty.

I see a lot of ICO's failing, whether it's in sales or development issues. Very difficult to develop, even the best ICO alone decreased. But we must keep hoping things will get better again

Investing in ICOs is probably the most difficult blockchain related thing to do right now because so much projects fail After the ICO and it doesn't necessarily mean they are all scams but terrible token metrics also plays its role on ICOs going under.
Some projects offers around 50-60% bonuses in the presale or private sale, this is too much and there is everything chance that the presale investors will flip on the ICO investors especially In this bear market.
This year has provided a much needed reality check for blockchain investors.

Our project (Speed Shopper) will be quite market neutral due to the structure and our plans to avoid exchanges.  You should check out our project and video https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4665959
