I don't think Bitcoin will fail so much. Mining will be no longer profitable. Look at the history chart and you'll see that now there is just a downtrend.

Something does not fall yet, how much longer do we have to wait? But seriously, I do not believe in the drop of bitcoin below 5k. It can drop to 6500 and slightly lower, but 3k is unlikely.

prices below $ 3000 for 1 bitcoin 2018 will not exactly. indeed, the market in 2018, especially at its beginning fell sharply.
For now I`m not sure, the cost of creating one BTC by just the cost of electricity is already $3000 - $3500, my lowest would be $5k
