Hi I just wanted to understand the ramifications of EOS dumping a sizeable chuck of the eth they raised through ico on the market. Is this more of an issue with the long term prospects of ethereum or EOS?

i am not familiar with EOS bu any of the coins that has an ICO and raises a lot of funds through a platform like ETH, they are receiving ETH tokens and they can dump those whenever the time comes. this has always been a big concern among ETH investors because ICOs are creating a huge demand for Ether and at the same time they can create a huge dump too. and if some day ICOs stop being created, like in case they are banned, that big demand for Ether will vanish and only the dumping will remain.

the information I receive the EOS blockchain protocol claims to be ideal for a decentralized application horizontal scale that allows developers to build high performance applications that do not operate on the same chain, handling millions of transactions per second, this is remarkable because it means companies can build enterprise-level decentralized applications, maybe because of that investors start to glance at EOS

everyone is dumping ETH these days because of the fear they have. and that is in fact the main reason why the recovery that ETH had was smaller than the recovery that any other altcoin had, because of this sell pressure that has been going on. EOS may be just one of them
i expect them to pump it at some point in near future though, but i don't know how successful the pumping team of it is going to be this time.

When will EOS release their main network? Directly after the ICO?

As ethereum price decreases even crashes, some projects may cash out their ethereum in order to be able to cover their future expenses. If they have not cash out when it is high, it was bad decision for them.

EOS is a very powerful ETH holder. If you sell everything, there can be a huge drop in price.

I am not familiar with EOS, one of the coins that owns ICO and raises a lot of money through platforms like ETH and other platfortm, but they receive ETH tokens and when they can get rid of them. this is what needs to be noticed, among ETH investors because ICO requires big demand for Ether and at the same time they can make big dumps too. and if at the moment ICO stop being made, when they are banned, big demand for Ether will be lost and only dumping that will remain.

For EOS it's within their remit to convert the funds in to fiat so they can develop their tech. For Ethereum it's always been a problem and always will be, it will be the same for EOS if they ever launch their blockchain and run ICOs on it, there's a large demand to buy ETH but then it can be dumped by the ICO creators.

They moved 50 000 ETH to Bitfinex but it's not a hundred percent proved that they already dumped it. My guess is this is a competitor moves to put down the ETH price and make people notice EOS more.
