Bitcoin continues to be pounded by negative news. Unconfirmed reports about Twitter following the footsteps of Facebook and Google in banning cryptocurrency ads pushed Bitcoin’s price below $8,000 on March 18.
If you ask me I will still say that it’s the same reason they believe that Bitcoin is scam and is being used for bad things online. But I’m not really sure of what I just said now if that’s the reason why. Btw, the price seems to be one the positive side now since it has risen back to around $8000+ and is still moving. Even if Facebook and Twitter bans the ads for Bitcoin, I don’t think it will have any impact at all.

Maybe the correct question is, are they really banning crypto ads? Because I'm still seeing a lot of ads in my Facebook account alone. Well they have their reasons for banning those crypto ads, to really weed out those scam ICO, but it is effective though? There's still a lot of money pouring to the ICO every minute that I don't think that this social media has contributed to the downfall to say of scam ICO. And just observed that you can still see a lot of ads in your account as well, so I don't know if they really filtered out or they just say they are going to ban it but don't do nothing, or maybe they are pressured by the government to put a ban around ICO.

Bitcoin continues to be pounded by negative news. Unconfirmed reports about Twitter following the footsteps of Facebook and Google in banning cryptocurrency ads pushed Bitcoin’s price below $8,000 on March 18.

Google has been sued in Russia after the company announced restrictions on the use of encrypted currency advertising. Entrepreneur vladimir o 'rehov has asked Russia's Google to pay 2 billion rubles. He claims the ban deprives him of investing in cryptocurrency projects and finding investors to fund his business plans.

He complained that he had lost potential investors "overnight" due to the impending ban. Restrictions on encrypted currency advertising deprive him of useful information about other companies' sales of tokens. This will lead to "promising investments" that miss out on opportunities and will affect his future earnings. He also believes the ban is illegal and violates his right to access information.

Not clear why facebook and google prohibit the news about cryptocurrensy, any negative news about cryptocurrncy usually bitcoin prices directly plummeted, what is indeed like this criptocurrency trip.

Although its not clear why facebook and google banned cryptocurrency ads, but its too obvious that the internet was being flooded with tons of cryptocurrency ads. And the most annoying part of it was, most of them are phishing website and other form scam techniques to take advantage to newbies.

These social media networks didn't mention why they are banning Cryptocurrency ads but the reason behind is, there are many fake ICO's launching and raising the money without any proper intention about what they are going to develop. Mostly innocent people are losing money with this ICO and maybe people are complaining about those scams ICO's to Facebook and Twitter.

Facebook, has been banning virtual currency advertising including bitcoin since January 2018. Because Google itself is banning it related to malicious or "bad ads" advertising data, which is a series of false, controversial and cyber-crime ads, contained in the Google search engine, to the video network

They have banned only a sponsored pages on the facebook. So we do not need to worry about this at all still it is possible to promote the project with the share, post and likes. Facebook judges all the ICOs are meant to scam the investor. That is reason we are seeing the ban.
Whatever Google do all people use the google for searching the crypto results everyday. True fact about the Google's announcement is they wanna a add the new blockchain on their own platform with the centralized medium. I am not sure still how they gonna do it.

False news. Facebook and Google are not banned in cryptocurrency market trading and ico. People spread a false news in this forum. Facebook and Google are two major sources of bitcoin trading platform. So I can't believe it.

It's a practical move by Google and Facebook. I think they don't want their platform to be used for scams or fraud which is usually circulating on web. It's a good thing for the crypto consumers for them to be secured and not be fooled by scam advertisement. But still there is a minimal consequences that can affect crypto because of that act.

A handful of ICO scams have branded the entire encryption market. Because of this, baidu, weibo, Facebook, Google, and even the possible Russian search engine Yandex's crackdown on ICO advertising are seen as a way to distinguish between good and bad.

Facebook, the ban on Google is not the end, at least not this year. Phantom or fake ICO projects are theoretically obsolete.

They aren't banning it. You can still talk about it. You can't ADVERTISE unless you are a registered trader. This is a necessary step to thwart scammers.

Sorta how this forum had to implement merit if you think about it. Forums like Bitcointalk, Twitter and Facebook need to figure out ways to control the scammers and confusion.
What most people like the OP usually do not do is to read the contents and once they see the headlines, they start panicking and asking some questions that may want you to puke. First and foremost, relating to his topic, how can Facebook or Google ban cryptocurrency ? What has cryptocurrency even gotten to do with adverts ?

Secondly, if the OP and some who have been commenting annoyingly above us actually read the content, they would not say this. It is apparent the way scam has evaded the advert space and being used to take advantage of investors, and it is not like the advert is a total ban as long as you can prove your legitimacy, then you are fine, and I wonder where some people get theirs from.

Giant companies just haven't yet developed unified standards on how to evaluate cryptocurrency projects, including ICOs and everything related. Once the legal side of cryptocurrencies get regulated properly, everything will be fine again. Unlike gambling, hyips and such, cryptocurrencies in general are not illegal by nature, so it is just necessary to wait until there appear quality and legal standards for crypto projects, including ICOs, exchanges and such.

the answer is obvious! a large amount of cryptocurrency advertising clogs the Internet and prevents ordinary users from easy and easy use of the Internet + google and facebook are closely connected with the authorities, and this directly affects their decisions about the cryptocurrency!
You think it is about the easy use of the internet ? Does that even sound realistic in your ears ? These guys have been making a whole lot of money from these adverts and if the advert is a problem for you as an internet user, they really do not care and you can decide to use an ad blocker for all they care.

The main essence is just a result of the scam that the ad space is being used for and as long as that is in play, they would prefer to keep investors and internet users safe from scammers.

I don't think twitter/ facebook bans are effecting the market. the bans aren't in place and won't be until June i think. to say this is dropping the market is naive. the market is being manipulated by whales and their positions on futures exchanges. plain and simple. This is why we are yo-yo'ing and smaller gains in the market when there is no real negative news
