I have a large number of btc i'm trying to move to my personal wallet from CampBX and i keep getting this error message.  my coins are effectively hostages and witht he value so volatile i could lose a lot of money if things go wrong.  There's no mention of this maintenance on their site. advice?

"Cold wallet maintenance in progress. Please reattempt after 3 hours."  fuck you campbx

Looks like you were just verified: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=315926.msg3383735

Perhaps CampBX puts a temp withdrawal hold on new accounts, even after verification?

I've never had issues withdrawing coins from them. In fact they show up on blockchain almost instantly.
Can you still receive deposits? And you have tried transfering just a small amount?

I've never seen that message. Their support response can be slow (a day or two) but they do get back to you.
Write them.
I know its easy for me to say, but try to relax. Many people have had a great experience with them. You haven't lost your coins.

i managed to get 8 of the 218 coins out, 3 in one and 5 in another, but repeating the attempts failed again with the same error message.

Here's my theory.  When people deposit coins they go into an active or "hot" wallet, and after some time are transferred to the "Cold" wallet, and with the withdraws i am attempting there aren't enough coins in the hot wallet, which is why i can occasionally get 3-5 coins out because someone just deposited them.  but they have no right to ignore my tickets or withhold my btc because of their poor business practices.

huh?:

I am trying to get verified on campbx so i can with draw my account balance there.  i mesaged support on either Thursday or Friday and was told:

There is a batch of KYC verifications scheduled to go out Sat night - your application should be in it.

Thank you,
CBX Support

However here it is Monday and I haven't heard from them since.

Should I be worried or just try and be patient?

Sorry for the miscommunication, i originally was going through CampBX but since they have been ignoring me for a week, i applied to bitstamp and was denied (low res scans)  the issue now is that i cant get my coins off of cambBX

once every 10 minutes or so it allows me to withdraw 3 coins...so thats what im doing until they fix this mess.

unfortunately i still have 200 coins to move
