I hate it how btc-e is $30 USD cheaper right now...
Perhaps it's the chinese panic buying Cheesy
Whatever the case, I'm selling some coins, time to get into shorting bitcoins.
I'm surprised of this huge increase though, any definite reason why it occurred?

rob a bank -> buy bitcoin -> no evidence -> can't be arrested.
Simple  Cheesy
I think the first step is a little flawed.  Only a little.

Go to a low populated place with a bank -> come at night with a truck -> put a hook around the ATM -> rip it out -> Drive and dump the truck?  Cheesy
That would work, except for the 10 cameras aimed at you at any time (with people watching them 24/7).

Haha definately. I was already planning on buying but it kept rising, so I decided to wait a bit longer.

You may place buy orders around 120. These might get filled soon.

Back down to $180. Here it goes.

Seems the price is like rollercoaster today. Hard to predict if it will go up to 250 or down to 150

It's not crashing that hard. Price is $179 now (according to bitstamp.net).

Its $168 on btc-e. It was $220 I think...

If it does "crash" it could be a much softer landing than last time - there are many more people becoming aware of bitcoin and coming on board.  They seem to be sucking up much of the coins being put onto the market by the "old hands" who experienced the last crash at $200.  Things have changed a bit since then.

Also, $200 is just a round number that does not correspond to other currency values.  For example, 1 bitcoin may be trading at 1654 Smemblics (or whatever).  In their case they might spook at 2000 Smemblics but 1654 seems fine.  Just numbers.

Sincerely I am, Johnny BitcoinSeed .com

it depends what you call a crash in terms of value and time frame.
