Any hope for Blackberry users ?  Huh

This may come soon. Cheesy

It's cool I guess however the need for my password every time I use it literally makes this unusable to me. My passwords are saved and entered automatically, and there's no way I'm memorizing my 40+ digit PW, or lowering that number. To my knowledge I cannot even copy and paste into the entry box.

Edit: in fact, going to Mt Gox straight from my phones browser is a lot easier considering I can auto-fill the passwords with lastpass, keepassdroid or other features.

You simply need to scan and synchronize the application.  You can also copy and paste the text by long pressing on the edit box just as one would in any Android application if you do not have a camera.  You can choose a "password" for sync that is just 4 characters long if you wish.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Smiley

edit:  http://mtgoxlive.com/mobile has brief instructions on how to synchronize your phone with your account.

Can I get iGoxed on the go, or only DroidGoxed?

Edit: I think I may have a misunderstanding on a couple things. I'll look at it next time I try to use it.

Can I get iGoxed on the go, or only DroidGoxed?

The application is available if you have iOS 4.0.1 (and possibly higher but < 4.3.x).  Please msg me on IRC (rasengan) to find out how to test it out.

I've used the application. After authenticating(which was no problem using the QR code) I'm asked to enter my password. I'm asked to enter my password every time I use the application. Long press only gives me the "Input method" option, no Copy and Paste.

My apologies.  I must have been a bit confused.  It appears that the password box is not indicative of what it is.  Basically, the "password" that is on your phone, is asking for a "new" password which will be used to ONLY on the phone.  In other words, when you first open the application, scan and pair, it will ask you for a password.

Here, for instance, you can choose a password such as '1234'

Subsequent logins, on the phone, will just require you to simply type '1234' in the password box rather than re-pairing.

I hope this clears up any confusion, sir.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

My password for Gox is too difficult to remember.  I think I need to write it on a sticker and put it on the back of my phone.

Two suggestions/requests:

- Ability to bypass password entry to use in a "no-trade" mode, for just checking prices, etc.
- Home screen widget with current price and balance. (with customizable refresh rate)

Overall it looks good!  Smiley

The "password" that will be used on your phone is not equal (!=) to the password that you use to login to your Mt. Gox account.  If you can, try to read through the instructions on the Download page or on the opening post.  If you have any additional questions, or need further help, please let me know at your earliest convenience and I will be happy to walk you through it over IRC.  This is most likely my fault as I should have been much more clear about the phone-password.  Quite possibly may re-name it (PIN or other).

I promise you the pairing functionality beats a sticker. :-)

BusmasterDMA, great suggestions.  The 'rights' management should make it into the update by tonight.  As for the widget, that has now entered the todo list, so it will be available soon!

Please keep the comments and suggestions rolling in so we can continue to hone the application into the most versatile, friendly and usable tool for you.

edit: by tomorrow

Is there some technical reason that this isn't compatible with 2.1?  I've got an HTC Hero that won't go above 2.1, but I'd love to be able to use this app!

What happens when you install on 2.1? Or does it not show on the market?

I was able to install, but when I run it either just goes to a white screen or it doesn't let my sync with my MtGox account once I scan the QR code.

Sorry about the inconvenience.

I'll build the next one coming here in a few hours against SDK 2.1 or lower.  Thanks for your patience and the continued feedback. Smiley

Thanks, and I appreciate the quick reply.  It's nice when developers actually listen to direct comments rather than just the general gripes of the masses  ^^

Could you enable Apps2SD? When I install it on my HTC Desire, it says I don't have enough space available.

Just a quick update for you guys.  Most or all of your requested features have been added in and now we are working on some of the newer features.  Sorry it is taking a bit longer, but it will be worth the wait!

I will see what I can do about this sir. Wink

Have you added the 'trade' right on the settings page for the API key?  Please let me know if this is the case and the problem persists.
