How to buy cryptocurrency in Korea for foreigners?

I'm currently living in Korea and would like to know if it's possible to buy bitcoin, alt coin in Korea with any of the trusted/popular exchanges?  I've asked Upbit and they said I couldn't deposit fiat to the account.  

How are foreigners dealing with this?

한국에 거주하는 외국인들은 가상하폐 구매 가능한 방법있나요?   업비트 무의하니 원화 입금이 불가능하다고 들엇어요.  그럼 구매할수없다는건데... 다른 방법이 있는지 궁금합니다
