Is yobit.net a scam site or not?

I would like to know your opinions about this exchange. I would like to trade here, but I have read many complaints.
What do you think? I should trade in this exchange?

They have a few scam accusations against them but people are still using them. If your coin is not listed anywhere but there then I guess you could use it otherwise just go with something more reputable like Binance, Bittrex, Poloniex, Hitbtc etc.

yobit is a shady exchange with terrible support, terrible platform and terrible services. you will experience a lot of difficulties trading there and thanks to their numerous problems with their wallets and balances you may find your transactions stuck whether deposits or withdrawals may fail.

long story short if you can trade anywhere else, it is best that you choose them instead of Yobit. use Yobit only if you have no other options.

I think what you say is true, but all this time I have never had trouble with yobit exchange
I think if the OP coin is not listed in any exchange and only in yobit he can use it as the only one.

The exchange is a bit dangerous in terms of security, in terms of transactions and transfer, we better use a safer exchange.

I've withdrawn once
But I'm afraid to deposit again for the reason that I read many comments that they are a scam site.and any way thank you for all of your response guys.

yobit.net is not scam base in my experience , there are more issue that they didnt resolved thats why many traders  avoiding using that exchange. But in my own experience ita ok for me .

It is very easy to get new coins/ICO on yobit listed. So they have many currencies, also shitcoins. It is difficult to update all wallets of each cryptocurrency, especially with a small support team.
So support seems to be very slow, you could have difficulties in withdrawals and deposits of exotic coins and you could lose your funds with pumped/dumped coins (many shady pumpers/dumpers and coin devs are on yobit around, but I saw briefly, that yobit banned dev, after he scammed users by pumping dumping his own coin).

Knowing the weak sites and advantages of yobit, I had no issues, because I only deposit/withdraw cryptocurrencies, which have no need for frequent updates and are transfered by stable network.

I trade only small funds on yobit as on all exchangers, I use. Until now yobit didn't disappoint me and trading/withdrawals/deposits went smooth. But that can change anytime.
Yobit is in my opinion much better than Bittrex, who suddenly changed their ID conditions and didn't pay back funds to customers without ID-verification.

Yobit is a very shady site that you should not use under any circumstances.

Their support is crap, they will ignore you until the world ends. The wallets on their site is often placed in maintenance mode without any apparent reason and that seriously affects people's ability to deposit and withdraw cryptos and often will result in financial losses.

Basically, they are a shitty exchange. But still functional, just a very high risk to use them.

However, if you are being touted a yobit giveaway which you have to send money to to receive a higher amount back, it's a scam 100%. It's not even going to be the official yobit reps, it's just scammers using this trick to take your money.

This is the only exchanger I use like for two years already. Yes, they have problems, especially from the end of the last year, their support do not reply for months already, but other services work as usual.
The rating of YoBit obviously fell this year and they are trying to bring it back. I heard a gossip that YoBit will reorganize it's signature campaign (which was over like a year ago) here on the forum. That is a clear sign that they are trying to attract new users on the site

With my own experienced I am using Yobit for a long time and they are active trading site before, but this past years ago they slowly having issues with withdrawal and even their signature campaign paying too late.

I was a member of their campaign before and what I earn from their signature campaign is what I use for trading altcoin.

Some of their altcoin stuck and couldn't transfer the coins into other exchanges and my transaction stuck forever and I tried to contact their support, but it takes weeks or months before you can receive a response to my ticket. That is why I lose faith in their services.

So, if you are planning to trade in yobit I suggest you go to other trading sites with active support so that you can know what is the real issue why you have a problem like stuck withdrawal and giving an update about your issue.

You can try cryptopia this is way far better than yobit.

no problem but people keep giving bad statements.
I think all exchangers have a big risk.

yobit is not a scam. I've used it for a while and I have not lost any money. However I have read many articles accusing yobit here and I did not use it again
I just use yobit to exchange small altcoin. I don't use it as one of the main exchange because site interface quite bad and hard to use

Yobit has come to a point where the customer support is still disgustingly bad and people are still using them. For sure, I would say that they are a complete scam. The admin is completely anonymous and it is unclear whether they are actually a compliant exchange/regulated exchange.

If you have any sort of problems you do not have anyone to talk to. And the whole system is buggy as hell with problems all over.

This is not legit. It's a common scam. Look at any of yobit's posts on twitter and in the comments there will be one person saying that yobit is giving away ETH and you need to send ETH to their address to claim it. e.g. https://twitter.com/YobitExchange/status/971070894583046144

All of them are scammers, please don't fall for it, it's not associated with yobit.net. Scammers just using their name.

Lots of scam accusations are already thrown at this exchange even prior to my existence in crypto community. Lost funds, withdrawal and deposit sucks, locked account and the most popular, poor customer support. As far as my own experienced is concerned, I never had a "major" problem using that exchange and those minor problem are solved in a short timeframe.

There are also times that your preferred coins to trade are only tradeable at Yobit so you might take a risks or wait for other listing on that coins on different exchange.

Bottom line: As far as all scam accusations against them are concerned, you must stay away on this exchange if you don't understand the risks of using them. Even I don't experienced any problem at this site and honestly I currently have an active trades here, still I will not recommend it to others especially for newbies.

I personally used yobit before without problems with deposit  and withdrawl ,  Without looking to maintenance wallets of lot coins ; I have heard recently bad comments about this site regarding receiving withdrawl , some traders waiting since december 2017 .... be careful and don't deposit large amount

They are 100% a scam at any corner possible. The list of companies and people they’ve screwed over is vast it’s just not all centralized so people don’t really know. Don’t think it’s a scam? Try to locate any info about who owns it, it’s not owned by anyone. Any exchange that wants no liability in case of exit scam is an exit scam waiting to happen.
