It's sad to be addicted to such life threatening substances, I guess the best way to get out of it is to get rid of the cause for which you took drugs like get cure of depression, or sadness etc. Taking drugs for a long time can just shorten your life span. You can quit cold turkey which might not be fruitful since you would be back to it, so see a doctor and gradually reduce the dose!
Doctors are the one made drugs as one of the successful business in the oast few decades, most of the medicines we are intaking has side effects so these medicines are created with the purpose of making people sick always so they will take medicine for time to time.We should change our life style to make effective change but as it has been said it is going to be a tough journey.

I was addicted to drugs when I was young and it was hard to stop, how do you think to get rid of drugs?

Move away from your friends which Im pretty sure they also served as your runner. Or if have the budget, move away from the city itself and lean towards a busy life getting a real job.

First, seek help.
You can't just stop doing it on your own, not when you're severely addicted. drug addiction is beyond psychological, it's also physical. You need to go to rehab.

Second, you need to WANT to stop.

Those people taking drugs are prone to commit crimes if you overdo it. It can lead to hallucination.

So as early as possible stop taking drugs and think of what matters to you.

Addiction to drugs begins slowly most of it starts with the company of friends adolescents are increasingly involved in crime when it comes to raising money to buy drugs in this opportunity drug dealers organized criminal gangs use them for various activities including murder kidnapping and extortion. Once entangled in this drug trap no one can come out easily if the government does not take proper action against drugs the youth will be protected from its effects.

I think finding a replacement is a good idea , something that gives you the same joy but less hurtful .
