Yesterday I moved my Neo to the NEO wallet. Upon transfering Neo i realised that on the left side I had the equvalent of NEO in Fiat and then on the right GAS. I know what the concept of gas, is but is there need to keep collecting it? Is it worth saving all the Gas you can? or can you sell it off?

Gas was a kind of dividend paid out to the NEO holders. Gas is used as fees for the transaction for NEO and ETH. The holders of NEO got a certain amount of gas only for holding the NEO. GAS is an asset paring with NEO.
So if you were to hold 1000 NEO, you'd earn 0.3411 GAS per day. That makes 2.3880 GAS per week, 10.6 GAS per month and 124.5 GAS per year. Accumulating to 6.22% of the dividend. Current price of GAS is $10.69. So in a year, you would earn $1,295.9 in a year for holding 1000 NEO. Higher the holding, the better it get. GAS also has a limited supply of 100,000,000 GAS and the current circulating supply of 8,335,784 GAS. Till day, there are 10,800,672 GAS created. And it's market cap is $88,706,630.
You can then decide to accumulate much of the gas for some months or a year and i believe before the end of a year, it value would have increased again. This is more or less like staking. Stake your Neo, to get more Gas.

Of course, you need to save it and not spend! if the neo grows, then the price for gas will also increase! Neo now has great prospects! so keep your gas better! since it is a particle of neo it's quite a nice prospect!

Of course, you need to save it and not spend! if the neo grows, then the price for gas will also increase! Neo now has great prospects! so keep your gas better! since it is a particle of neo it's quite a nice prospect!

Great! But 1000 NEO is the big money! So It is difficult to get 1000 NEO at this time

This seems interesting to me. I would rather prefer to hold a lot of NEO to obtain more GAS and hold for the next one year. I i am optimistic that GAS will become a very good coin in the nearest future. The value will not remain stagnant, even if there is fluctuation, it will moon.

I almost forgot about this, I followed a campaign with a neo token payment. means I have to have neo to do the transaction.
even I do not know how much it will take to send my token to the exchanger.?

i think gas will have some long-term value, if the whole NEO platform adoption rate rises. Maybe keep some sell some, if u really need the cash. But unless u have huge bags of NEO, it'll take some time to accumulate significant GAS anyway.

Indeed. As gas is essential to be paid as fees during transaction of NEO and ETH, it has use in the market and as the supply of GAS is limited, its likely to grow in the near future. Currently its trading at around 24$ as the market is in a dip. Before the dip it was trading at around 40$.

Therefore, GAS still has small market cap and limited supply and therefore there is space for it to grow. Accumulate NEO as much as you can to earn more passive income in the form of GAS.

I think you are asking when and how often to claim the gas and does the timing and frequency makes any difference?
AFAIK, there's no difference in amount when and how often you claim. But it's wiser to claim only when you intend to use or sell your gas as small claims would clutter your wallet with transactions.

Indeed. The more NEO you hold, the more GAS is paid out. Therefore, its better to accumulate NEO now when the market is in a crash and is experiencing a bearish trend. The price of GAS is indirectly connected to the prices of ethereum and neo.

Both NEO and ETH have quite much potential in the near future and are mostly likely to grow and so will GAS alongside them. If you want to sell GAS for NEO, you can transfer your GAS to exchange, then convert GAS to BTC/ETH and then convert BTC/ETH to neo. You can do so on binance exhcnage as it support GAS as well as NEO.

Why do you need some reason to keep collecting it? its free money, so of course you must collect it. GAS is paid as a dividend to the NEO holders. The more NEO you hold, the more GAS will be paid out to you. You can claim your gas every 5 minutes, though its not necessary and you can collect it once a month or year as it accumulates over time.

You can exchanges GAS to other crypto currencies later on some exchanges or you can even convert it to fiat money. Therefore, though the amount is less, its still free money.

This is a great idea from NEO as it encourages people to HODL. Some people stake their altcoins but with NEO it's GAS that you can collect to help power the platform. If ETH done the same thing with their form of gas then people will hodl ETH as well. NEO is going to be a big riser this year, another reason to hodl it!

You should find out more about Gas for NEO Tokens! Completely with gas price when using Etherium! Google or Forum has a lot of detailed information about the issue you are interested.

I always sell my GAS when the rates are good to increase my NEO portfolio and to stake more GAS out of them. The more NEO you've got the more GAS you get.

I see neo better to hold and for some future I think will give big advantage if you hold it in some time forward besides that altcoin I think have high potency to be made investment.
