Hey All!

I created a bitcoin Zippo lighter to trade for Jalapenos, but no one took me up on my offer to trade.  Sad

I've sold a few and I'm getting ready to place another order. I just thought this might be something fun to do.

You can find the story of the artwork on the lighter here.

Let me know either via PM or in this thread if you are interested and I'll put in an order for you.

Currently I have the following orders:

elasticband x 1
thomashrev89 x 2
DobZombie x 1
Bitweasil x 1

The price is 0.31 BTC for delivery in the US and 0.36 BTC for international orders. I want to place the order on Monday, October 28 - let me know before then and I'll order you one.

You can send your btc to this address: 1HhY3mPvkHxz6RFEhsFwk1FDj5TMnMxu5H

But just make sure you PM me with your transaction id, and delivery address.

I hope you enjoy!

Everytime I see something like this I cant help but to see the collectors value, how many of these do you plan on making?

And are they standard zippos with wick and flame?

Yep - They're the standard size Zippo lighter. This one is black with the printed bitcoin image. I just made it for fun, and I don't think I'll make more that 12 or so.

But I have thought it might be cool to make a series of the lighters. But, I need to come up with some theme...

Cheers!

Unfortunately, there's no green lighter I can get. Originally, I wanted to do a metal lighter with a transparent background on the image, so it would have that rugged kind of look. But Zippo's printing process doesn't allow for a transparent background. So I needed to choose a background color and I picked green.

I could print on a red, white, or metallic lighter with a different background color.... But I was hoping to keep it simple.

Well, I'm just doing this for fun   Smiley And it's been really fun so far. So, if it's still fun after this first round, I'll think about doing another piece.

If you'd make it "2010 ~ 2013" it would be extra cool (for me) Smiley Any chances of that?

I can't change it for this run, but I have some ideas for next time that incorporate different years.

Hello All!

I've placed the order for the custom lighters today. I would plan on about 10 days before I have the lighters in hand. I'll give everyone an update with I know more.

Thanks everyone who's paid! If you haven't paid... I'll send you a friendly reminder before I drop the lighter in the mail.

Cheers!

It looks like the lighters are scheduled for delivery TODAY!

If past performance holds true, I'll receive the lighters late in the day. I already have the labels printed and will package and ship the lighters to everyone on Friday.

Cheers!
