no promo.. its hard to ask and not mention the name... I just find it unbelievable and fun that I can trade BTC with leverage.. Since its regulated by UK authorities, I feel safe. You only have to be willing to take a loss, so do not use it, if you do not understand how contract for difference (CFD) works. If I mention MtGox, am I promoting them as well? I just find speculating there fun. I mine BTC and LTC, so this is just fort fun.. but making fiat comes in handy. I know I will never buy any "real" BTC, its only speculation on plus500.. and this is the board for it, is it not.. speculation?

None of those have the baking and liability that this British company has. But I see your point..

British? they licensed? wonder what kind of backing. if they are legit, may be worth looking into.

I trade sometimes on plus500. I'm not too impressed.

There are 3 main issues that I don't like there.

1) They freeze their interface during high volatility. Forget about closing a position during a flash crash or a sudden price raise. And of course stoplosses are not guaranteed.
2) You can't hold a position beyond the end of the month. The CFD on BTC/USD expires at 21.00 GMT of the last day in the month.
3) Minimum lot size is 10 BTC, with 10 BTC increase step. I'm not sure if it's specific per account or it's the same for everyone.

The issue 1 is what really bothers me. You can view it as a standard broker old cheap trick, but still it surely would be better if they didn't that.

Point 2) and 3) are tolerable, but when I first opened an account there those restrictions weren't there. I was able to select a position from 1 BTC with 1 BTC increases step, and not be forced to close it at the end of the month. I definitely would have traded more frequently there (paying them more commissions in spread) if they didn't change their policy.

not saying they are not legit, but in the forex community they have one of the worst reputations possible!
