It is still good for litecoin, and some other alt-coins, which are profitable multiple times more than bitcoin. And you can sell them for gaming too

33 GPUs only need about 8 KW per hour. Possible to run in your house, In fact, it is heat power required to heat small house in winter  Smiley

If you have a smell it is because your temperature is too high, or you have 5970 cards. Those are boiling hot

Hah hah, I have four 5970's, and they do run hot. I am mining Litecoins on my GPU's and of course BtC with my ASICs. What else could I do? And, it's just a hobby. I have a real job.

I'm mining scrypt but the real purpose of my miner is space heater.

My apartment lease does not allow for space heaters. Fire Risk.

There's nothing in there about a cryptocurrency miner running 2 7970s. I plan on expanding it with two more 7970s. My total electric bill is around $60. I have not once had to turn the heat on this fall and this winter, after expanding, I doubt I will have to.

To decrease temperature, do not overclock your GPU's too much.

How about noise, I think 33+ fans produce quite a lot of decibels!

It won't help much, undervolt would help even more...
