hi i have 1 pc 1050 ti and 1pc 1080 nvdia gpu,

what is the best to mine altcoin right now? can i dual mine ethereum and bitcoingold at the same time?

so far NVIDIA is excellent at Equihash Algo but I want only warning about dual mining. for dual mining, yes you can do it. be careful with temperature on cards and power consumption because of having different between single mining and dual mining.

for 1080 equihash or x16r is more profitable, 1050ti is good at all kinds of algos, you can mine whatever you want with it

You can always check whattomine.com to get the latest and most profitable coins to mine with your GPU.

But based on whats been happening lately and with all the volatility, it seems that whattomine will keep telling you to just mine ETHEREUM. If you are new to mining and want to learn, its probably best to stick with Ethereum first and learn how to tweak and optimize your GPU.
