We will eventually need a "we will never reach $1,000,000 again" once we get past the $1million mark, and so on.

This time last year many people make this same comments and the said "bitcoin will never get to $10,000" but we can see were it is today and in the same year bitcoin grow to $20,000. $100,000 is highly achievable and this growth maybe achieve before 2020. I cannot undermine the potential on how bitcoin will grow because what happened in the past is an eye opener.

That's a rather harsh way to answer him LOL. I predict that we will need this thread 6 years from now after it dumped from $100,000 to $85,000. I wonder though when will we need the "we will never reach $1,000,000 again" thread? Probably it would take at least a decade for us to need that kind of thread, as I don't see crypto reaching $1,000,000 in the next 9 years. I might be wrong though.

   I belong to a "Bitcoin will reach $100k" group of people, the biggest
disagreement in the group is about when will it happen. Since you reserved
such thread I would like to hear your expectations.

For the main time it is not but if bitcoin was still alive in the future, i'm sure there's a big difference between now and then. We shouldn't have to expect more in bitcoin but rather ride the flow of it so we can still manage to sway our on way if we since a bad way.

 I'm all for bitcoin taking a while to reach 100k so I can accumulate a little more in the mean time. If it reaches 100k and I'm not in a position to retire then I'll be disappointed.

Im excited to see and visit this thread again in the next few years (like 2-3 years I guess?). Only post about speculations of prices will never gets old. Everyday we're seeing post after post about speculations about Bitcoin, some are making predictions that looks convincing when the reality is, no one could really predict what will happen to Bitcoin in the next month,years and decades.

It's amazing lol, one day if bitcoin can reach $ 100k there you'll be very surprised and excited at the same time, it may not be possible bitcoin can reach a very high price, and for me now so many opportunities for the next few years, see public enthusiasm and all positive news.

Lol yeah. This is a great new way of making fun of those "Bitcoin will never reach $X again". I'd be interested to see if OP actually updated this when BTC crosses $100k and drops.

I don't think BTC will ever come close to that amount, ever.

At $14k and higher, transaction fees start to weigh heavy.

Even with scaling attempts, let's say the next time transaction fees average $50 per transaction, the price of BTC is $30,000.

By the time BTC gets to $50k, the blockchain will be even less unmanageable, and BTC's market share will eventually fall to whatever next-gen altcoins take its place.

It won't be made obsolete, just rarer in use.

Hahaha this is very creative post. And yeah bitcoin will possibly reach to 50000 dollars level at least, but it won't last long and gonna be dumped yet again and people will start opening these threads again here on forums

After reaching 1 billion users, and with Bitcoin trading "only" on $62,000 because of some FUD that China again will "ban" Bitcoin, the all time high of $100,000 will easily be breached by the time we enter the new FOMO phase.

I think no one is expect the 100k USD in future. Because most of the countries are looking to implementing the legalisation of cryptocurrency once legalised all the peoples are invest directly at the same time price is little hike is possible in future. But 100k is impossible in crypto market.

In my opinion many are hoping, And even if the government wants to implement a legalization towards Cryptocurrency and even if we can not see this year there are more years to come that we can sure see a glimpse of the future by this thread alone I hereby say that I am part of the many people in the community hoping we can see the price will surge up even if we are seeing a great resistance right now, And even thought we are not there yet there are a big percentage that we can make it because this is bitcoin we are talking about.
