How do you spot multiple alternate accounts?

I've read many rules in this forum from some campaigns that doesn't allow multiple accounts while joining a single campaign, but I saw some people joining different campaigns with different accounts and that is allowed right?. If a person tries to join his/her multiple alternate accounts in a single campaign then how do you spot that? so I can report that member if he/she defies the rule of a campaign that doesn't allow multiple accounts to join in.

Most of them are caught through address/wallet connections. Addresses that have been used together in a single transaction are flagged as belonging to the same wallet by services such as walletexplorer.com, while some blockchain explorers like blocktrail.com are able to crawl bitcointalk for mentions of specific addresses. Proof gained this way is usually irrefutable.

Other than that, it's just circumstantial stuff like post patterns, etc. but those are a lot harder to prove. People with multiple accounts also tend to not post very well.

As for whether you can report them or not, yes. There's an entire thread dedicated to that here. Make sure you have proof before accusing someone though.

Having multiple accounts is highly discouraged by DT members as the fundamental purpose of this forum is not earning money but exchanging information with each other, and discussing problems related to cryptocurrency industry. So it might not be against the rules to join different campaigns with different accounts, but it is not let by higher members as that begets spam and spamming is against the rules AFAIK.
And, spotting an alternative account of an expert (in this kind of things) is not really easy as they can fit themselves in different styles so that no one can recognize them. Although someone with less expertise and more greed can easily be spotted by his way of writing or simple mistakes like using the same social accounts or bitcoin addresses for different campaigns using different accounts. Mostly from the stupid mistakes they make. A few examples that could help you catch them:

1. Sending the same ETH address/Telegram account while filling the forms.
2. Posting in the same threads using their different accounts
3. Enrolling at the exact same time (A few seconds apart)

#2 and #3 are probably not much of a proof but you can start from there and to checking the writing similarities, registration date, online time etc.

Thanks everyone for the info about this topic, I just feel unfair for those people who do this kind of thing that aim to earn a lot by any means. And now I know that having different accounts that joins different campaigns is quite allowed but it is not recommended by higher members. Also thanks for giving some tips on how to know if someone violate those rules so I can report them together with substantial and concrete evidence. I hope this might help clean up the forum and lessen the abusive members.

To create several accounts for one person is unfair to the other participants. It's better not to do this because you can get on the black list to many bounty managers. Then you will not be able to participate in your account in good projects.

Addresses would be your friend in finding account farmers taking advantage of several campaigns they are enrolled to. Aside from that, the posting history, alongside posting patterns can be used against them, too. And with the recent introduction of the merit system, some users are using this as well in order to get their accounts ranked up, so you can use that as well. Alt accounts are allowed in this forum, though it is highly discouraged, too, seeing that these accounts can be used to perpetrate scams and abuse the system as well.

As for campaigns, it is the duty of their respective campaign managers to check out for alternate accounts enrolled on the said campaign. You can report them or red tag them, but as long as you don't have proof, or the person isn't doing anything harmful, you can't do that.

I'm still amazed, how people can be such stupid to use same ETH address on multiple accounts. Do they really think that nobody will notice it?
I'm sure there are much more people who are smart enough to not use same ETH address for multiple accounts. And unfortunately, then it's much more difficult to catch alt accounts.

Yes sometimes they used same Wallet address and also they use the same format of promoting in dummy accounts
