Source - https://www.coindesk.com/social-media-giant-snap-confirms-its-banned-ico-ads/

But more importantly, does anyone care??? Grin

Or do any crypto users actively use snapchat? Look for ICOs on snapchat, of all places?

Seems like snapchat is just following the other media giants. A pointless move but it might inspire others to also ban crypto and ICO ads on their platforms.

Because of all these bans, they are afraid of Blockchain technology. But whatever they do, this technology will go all over. No one can prevent the technology from reshaping with Blockchain!

Do you get influenced by crypto Ads in the first place? I am not influenced by those and I will not make any difference in my life personally if another social network has decided to ban it.

I think they're just copying FB and Google, more than anything. I mean, who advertises their ICO on snapchat anyway. Grin

There are a lot of opportunities for ICOs to advertise. The ban of Snapchat will not effect the ICOs. I doubt how many ICOs advertise on Snapchat.

That's true, i can't remember if there were any ICOs that were advertising on Snapchao anyway.
I guess that the biggest loss until now was the ban from google and facebook .

Snapchat is influencer based, don't put up static images promoting your ICO, have the influencer incorporate it into their video. More authentic and trustworthy that way. This is assuming you're targeting users that use Snapchat. Otherwise you were probably wasting your time promoting there anyways.

I don't think this news will make market crash, it will help crypto users choose only real ico and avoid scam ico. This is a good move from Snapchat to help ico and crypto become more public to the world soon.

WTF why all add systems are banning crypto world. That's too interesting. More interesting thing is all these prohibitionist companies are internet companies. But i belive they will change their ideas in near future. Because these restrictions are not realistic.

Just ordinary news. Does it deserve attention? No. This is a small test for the cryptocurrency, which will only make it stronger. Google, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat - conservatives. Think with your head, avoid scams, lol. We shouldn`t pay attention.

I even do not know there is a snapshat medium, it is a good way to make it famous. Of course, I do not know there are any ICO ads there. I think the main promoting social medium is this forum, telegram, twitter and facebook.

First thing it doesn't really matters if an app bans crypto ads. Secondly this is a positive news as this will prevent new users being sucked into the scam ICOs that are launching these days. It will be great if any other remaining website bans ICO ads too.

Yeah, this is the good question about real Snapchat usage by crypto hunters. I like cnapchat and use it enough often, but it is just for my pleasure and have no connection with my activity. I don’t pay much attention on sbapchat adds.
