Price Dropped, motivated seller on this rare oddity.

This is an odd roll by all accounts.  I originally made a post here in attempts to find information about this oddball: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2870477.msg29481012#msg29481012

to little avail.

Thus, Ive ever seen an oddity like this make its way to sale, so I have no set price and thus am taking offers. Feel free to PM offers or post in thread. Payments accepted in LTC, BTC.  Satori collectibles are HOT HOT HOT

Asking .21 firm for this oddity. May accept partial trades, but mostly in search of digital bits.

Happy haggling!

In the thread quoted you stated you opened the sleeve (not a big deal) so did the serial numbers match the sleeve or not? Very curious to know.

Not even close these are going for 0.1 BTC now:) Satori stopped production, no stock for sale and the latest auction today was for 0.102.

Not if its been opened -- there's far less guarantees around safety for the chips. Also, he's under no compulsion to accept my offer, merely an offer (which is open to negotiation).

No offer below .1 will be considered real.

And it is still factory sealed. Never opened. Perhaps you misread.

Hey Ticked,

I actually noticed that in the first shipment of the latest GB there were maybe 2-3 rolls that had this red circle and the "Assorted" text added to the roll.. No idea what it actually means or why but it probably is as you say, a mixture of coins that were left over that they just made a roll out of Cheesy. Perhaps open it up to inspect the serials? Although that would also be a shame.. Keep us posted anyways, and if someone else received one of these please chime in if you opened yours Cheesy

The temptation to open was real.  Like,m what if theres a pre-bch in there. thatd be real odd. Also easy to fake.  Itll stay sealed.  Anyone who opens one, id love to know what you find, and id advise videoing it start to fnish

Well that is pretty cool as a chip outside the QC certified inspection made it in the roll. Makes me wonder which one is missing. I have some experience as QC for the power industry and industrial manufacturing. Im thinking the roll fell short one chip so another was added from a box of assorted chips by QC ( picked up off floor, machine jams etc). Then the roll is labeled ( assorted in red) and the chip outside the run is placed on the end for visual verification.

Also wonder why Japan doesn't remove the " made in china" label on the container. That may be because of an agreement with purchase.  No matter being an oddity I would think higher value for a roll Smiley

My ability to tell time is difficult as hibernation is not the norm, yet here I am some many few hour later, I was able to capture chips clearly: 038675 038830 038832 038833 038837 042672 042675 & unclearly I could see but not get a useful photo of 038838, without further blah blah blah:

Have you ever considered the option of auctioning this with a high reserve or better yet a hidden one from my understanding this is how one sells an item via auction correct mate?

Apart from you nobody on this forum is silly enough to use a hidden reserve.
If people want to set a reserve then they should set it as the auction start price.

Is .25 not high enough of a wanted price? Haven't sold it yet, so Id say im in the right ball park. I dont like hidden reserves. I'll accept offers, but I believe this piece to be worth the price given 1 the rarity of the assorted roll (have you seen another show up for sale or even show up?) and 2 the decreasing number of complete satori rolls remaining, so not too much wiggle room.

thank you for your suggestion, but i politely decline such an idea.
