(Thanks for pointing out, we will update the diagram to clear the confusion.)

TOX is eventually going to be an opensource app + wallet that will run on client/users devices. Each user will interact with ThEmployer blockchain using the app.
None of the user data will be centrally stored & will be only accessible by the user or whoever the user gives the permission.

We believe that hiring should not be centralized, it is one blockchain use case that needs true decentralization to give everyone an equal chance to find the right Job.

We will elaborate more on this in our whitepaper.

Hi Ottogary,

We have been working & enhancing ThEmployer Idea for past 6 years, this has given us an in-depth overview and ability to visualize how the future of hiring will look like. Blockchain brings the much needed gears to make the whole platform run autonomously, enabling a path for hiring in the future.

Most of the projects in the market do not address the true concerns of the hiring Industry.


In order to make it truly decentralized, we have come up with a unique way to use candidates as the evaluators. We envision that recruiters will be replaced by normal people (passive candidates) who are doing different jobs. No one has realized the potential of these passive candidates & their experience (which is stored with them, in their memory, offline) in the hiring industry.

The user data will be hashed & stored using IPFS. The data will be divided into public & private. Public data will be shared with the community participating in the hiring process for a limited period of time. Once the job creater & candidate approve of each other,  the private data will be shared between both.

Participants running nodes will be incentivised to keep the uptime more than 90%.
