First ICO for me - Red Lanterns.
Now I wait for the Nagri ICO. This is ICO with the real existing product - very rare thing on this market)

MobileGo for me, and it did increase after ICO for sure. Sadly I made a mistake and did not take profit, but it was up for a little while after ICO. Have dabbled in a couple others successfully but overall I don't like the ICO scene much I'd rather invest in projects already on the market.

Invest in ICO is easy as well as a hard thing for some people. For me personally, I need to do some extensive research before I fully certain that you want to invest in this ICO. Tokenomy is my first ICO investment.

I'd like to know do you guys prefer to invest in ICO with proven business or start from the ground?

which I did, did not invest in ICO. but I've invested in an ETH which already has a market. so that the certainty and profitability are greater than the new ICO road. although sometimes ICO also has good value.

the very first time I invested last year is Ripple last December before the fall of Bitcoin.
that time Ripple had price valued as low as $0.25 and now I regret nothing that I bought a couple of hundreds of Ripple last year because I know that it will soon surge it's price and will offer me higher return of investments this year as numbers of giant companies are announcing their official partnership for Ripple like Western Union and Santander and other international money remittance companies.

I have not invested in any ico but I bought many ico tokens after the crowdsale ends and they are listed on exchanges, I am happy with what I did as most of them decreased after ico.

What a great and interesting topic, you made me remember my first ICO which was HUMANIQ (HMQ). It was the first time i heard of ICO, i was panicking being the first time. After reading through the white paper and got through the roadmap, I later chooses to take the risk by investing my spare money which really hit exchanges and gave me joy while i took profit and the experience brought me to ICO world. Thanks

I never bought on ICO. Even in 2017 it was more profitable to buy after listing on the exchange and the fall of the rate. Now you can buy tokens 5-10 times cheaper than on ICO.

My first ico was humaniq, i was not investing in any ico at that time but humaniq had some hype and got my attention so i was lured to try that and i invested only $100 in its ico and took profit as soon as it rose to 5000 satoshi per hmq.

The first ICO I invested in was Universa. At the time of their first appearance on the exchange, they brought x4! But I do not sell, I will keep a couple of years.

i am first time invested on ripple only but in ico i had invested on aix bounty campaign. but with that i got more profit also. for new investors means try to invest 50$ itself. not more than it. as your idea. after wards you got some details about investment then you can get more profit.

I found an interesting project based on the blockchain Vreo.io. It provides new in-game advertising opportunities. Due to this, the user's interface continues to work stably without interrupting for advertising breaks. Moreover, the interests of all parties are taken into account. Developers of small games can attract investments and create high-quality products, for advertisers this project will be useful due to the expansion of advertising opportunities and selected target audience, and gamers will be able to receive quality products cheaper, besides they also receive income from the ads they watched, without interrupting the gameplay. It seems the product meets the gaming and advertising industries' needs. Here is their link at bitcointalk https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2886707

The first ICO project I invested in was BANKEX, which is now well below the issue price.
It makes me feel bad. I won't believe the ICO project from Russia anymore.
