ICOs aren't under attack, that wasn't the whole point behind those bans. They so happen to indirectly affect ICOs but the main intent was not that I assure you this. If there is any dump on Ethereum it will be temporary, as soon as it gets undervalued tons of people will buy it including me.
The attack was indeed on ICO’s and I can assure you that. The purpose wasn’t to crack down ICO’s though, it was to regulate them and save people from getting ripped of their hard earned money due to some scam and fraud scheme ICO’s. These regulations will only affect the ICO’s that were being created for no other purpose then scam and the good ICO’s will surely stay. As far as I know, the ICO’s now will be made to register under government authorities before being launched in order to protect the money of the investors.
