They just close ads, but not with posts about crypto created by media accounts. So I guess we are not too worried about that, while every new ICO holds a bounty for their project.
Indeed, which makes bounty campaigns on twitter etc even more valuable to these startups.
I guess we will also see some more shitcoin campaigns here if their advertising on facebook/google/twitter is being cut off.
They don't actually close the ads for crypto. and I think you can still advertise your ICO's there just make sure that you can provide a legalization of your business the same as google ads. Just to prevent scam cryptocurrency to spread in all over the internet.
These articles kind of suggest otherwise, ( that it is indeed a ban on ALL ico's, but that it might be temporarily)
https://techcrunch.com/2018/01/30/facebook-is-banning-cryptocurrency-and-ico-ads/I don't really see telegram being a good replacement for twitter/google ads/facebook. Reddit ads themselves might be able to take on that role which was previously carried by google/facebook ( cpm/cpc ads), but i doubt that they won't ban them anytime soon aswell ( the promotion of ICO's.).
