They can't believe how crypto works as here it is not officially acceptable by the government and also because of bitcoin scam that happened earlier this year. I believe one of the reason why it is not known yet in our country because of lack in advert, education as well as probably our people are just scared in change as in fact most of us still feel secured holding cash instead of cards.

In my country, everyone thinks Bitcoin is a scam because they bring a lot of money to those who enter the Crypto market. In addition, my country's media channels always posted bad news about Cryptocurrency and made a lot of people fear Crypto.

In my country, i ever heard ridiculous opinion about crypto saying that crypto has no advantages, and full of scam. I think that is so ridiculous because they judge crypto without learning the positive side about it first.

Many people in my country think that Bitcoin is just a utility where anyone can just invest into and will start to gain portfolio returns. Many only heard of Bitcoin price hikes and how it made investors enjoy significant profits over the news.

Well most of the time bitcoin has been hailed as scam system im my country. A lot of people doesn't believe with its benefits and advantages rather than calling it as fake. They tend to believe false news about bitcoin. Cryptocurrency for them is not legit and just a waste of investment. Sad thing is that they haven't tried it yet.

Same as my country. I often heard stories from my fellow crypto enthusiast who are always accused of scamming people when they tell that they get their money from bitcoin/altcoin/cryptocurrency. It  became a stigma because of the reports of bitcoin scams on TV.

In my country, people often equate BTC = MLM, phishing, virtual currency. Very few people understand what blockchain is.

Maybe sounds strange but some people think that because it's virtual that bitcoin actualy doesn't exist.
Also, many are scared of scams and big loss of value.

We always forget that here on forum, in bitcoin community, are everyone that are involved with bitcoin or some other cryptocurrency but outside this there are still many people who haven't even heard about bitcoin and don't know how to use it and also have many prejudice regarding bitcoin. This should be changed and we have to promote bitcoin even more.

The main misconceptions are money maunder in and using for illegal activities. I still feel when the crypto world would be regulated many things would fall in place and also the misconceptions also wills start reducing. But everyone should understand that how strong this industry and potential it has in the future. But my country bitcoin has baned in a few years. I think our goverment get permission to legalize it to use in our country very quickly.

Here in our country the government doesn't recognize cryptocurreny as a legal tender and an official mode of payment. Also, there is this active idea that cryptocurrency tends to be used for money laundering or any illicit activities. Avoiding the disruption of the use of traditional money. Due to this government warns the public about the use of such system to avoid being a victim of scam. And yeah most of the citizen believe it.

The government in my country says that cryptocurrency is a dangerous currency used in black markets to trade in illicit weapons. They also say that people who use Bitcoin are in the terrorist organization
