A lot of research has been done, in which it has already been proven a thousand times that bitcoin for illegal activities is used in only 1-2% of cases, so this fact is not decisive.

And I will say that for example, the terrorists have used words. Does not this mean that all people need to refuse to talk?

Not Bitcoin will kill itself, but rather the people (ab-)using it as a pure investment tool. This totally negates the powerful underlying blockchain technology. But greed seems to be very widespread. In the long run the price will drop to zero, when less and less buyers are entering the market (the situation we see right now). If there is not a powerful mainstream media campaign to attract more "investors" its price is going to keep falling. Although i do not think that it will ever die entirely, because there will always remain a few still interested. Blockchain has a promising future (if serving as a decentralized currency with fair access/distribution), Bitcoin does not.

So what do you want, do you want the Bitcoin blockchain to broadcast all the transactions with its owners information. What's the point of being decentralized if you are going to do that. Or do you want the governments to know which coin belongs to whom, isn't that the opposite of what Bitcoin is trying to aim for?

this fake news I do not believe news like this. Bitcoin is unlikely to commit suicide or will eliminate itself. Already many bitcoin users in this world, will bitcoin betray its users? It is impossible.

One of the best features of Bitcoin is it's anonymity. This is also one of the reason why countries are banning or at least hesitant to embrace the technology. From money laundering to illegal drug transactions to human trafficking. We always blame the FUD from mainstream media, financial institutions like banks, the government etal. But do you think, the one that would "kill" Bitcoin is actually the nature of it.

Here's another news where Bitcoin was being used in an illegal activity. This will raise a lot of eyebrows because it concerns our children.

http://www.news.com.au/finance/money/investing/bitcoin-could-become-illegal-after-its-blockchain-was-discovered-containing-child-abuse/news-story/bf486e6e8de453fd7ad2abba019952dd

I think the anonymity and all the things that they thought are negative sides of bitcoin are the ones that they also love and appreciate about it. The government might add regulation and rules to it. Most people will decline using it but it will never be the cause of its death.

I think that Govt wants to control all our actions. Cryptocurrency and platform blockchain are anonymous so the govt will not be able to control the cryptocurrency. So, they try to kill bitcoin

Bitcoin will not kill itself, also please don't trust these stupid articles from the mass media. They are out of content and now that BTC is low, they take advantage and think of stupid reasons why Bitcoin is "never going to go up again".

there are so many threads devoted to the death of bitcoin, why are creating so many of them? why don't write in the present threads?
by the way, a group of researchers from Stevenson's University of Technology has come to a conclusion, that silent majority of people influence the price more than people who make loud claims about btc. They have found out that rarre comments of "silent people" tremendously influence the price.
do think about it..

Bitcoin is not anonymous to being with, you can create a wallet and receive bitcoin without giving away your identity but if you ever try to cash out you will have to connect your identity to an address and all the transactions ever made to that address, so no, that is not going to be enough to kill bitcoin, that is something governments are going to try to use to at first to impose regulations to bitcoin then to ban it and finally when bitcoin beats them despite the ban they will legalize it in name even if at that point people will not care about the ban.

Only the addresses are public. Those addresses are only a combination of number and characters. The buyers and sellers are anonymous.

Nonsense, people and without bitcoin laundered money for many years. This is all written to intimidate ordinary people and so they do not use cryptocurrency.

The problem is that the bad news will not stop. The constant regulatory announcements of the different countries, some threaten with prohibitions.
The Manipulationsvorwuefe on the stock exchanges. Now is the debate about the millions of hack of the Mt.Gox Exchange. All this harms Bitcoin. I'm curious when a floor is found and how deep it is still.

We all know this, but could not deny the positive values that bitcoin brings. It's difficult for the Government or the Bank admitted. But the organizers as well as blockchain is the future.

Its a partial view of Bitcoin. It is true that one of the core features of btc is the untraceability used for illegal purpose, but crypto can perform money movements instantly, without any cost GAS and electricity apart, and without the slow mechanisms of traditional banking. There's a lot more, like the decentralized nature of the system; and actually btc represent a value reserve like gold, so people buy it to invest our money. Despite the great volatility which is a fact, btc is still one of the best investment to do. Look at history of fluctations and you will find why.
