Unfortunately, some of the earliest adopters of all new technologies have been criminals. Their activities involve high risk operations, so they are willing to use state-of-the-art technology. That has nothing to do with bitcoin per se. Every disruptive invention in the history of humankind has initially gone through this phase, so will bitcoin. The next phase is widespread adoption!

I do not think Bitcoin will get as big as it can get if governments do not have full control over it. Which is a shame becasue it is just an amazing technology with a great concept. I really hope those greedy money hungry people will one day stop manipulating our finance system.

So what do you want, do you want the Bitcoin blockchain to broadcast all the transactions with its owners information. What's the point of being decentralized if you are going to do that. Or do you want the governments to know which coin belongs to whom, isn't that the opposite of what Bitcoin is trying to aim for?

Couldn't agree more! You should accept new inventions with their cons and pros. Considering Bitcoin's and Blockchain's bring value to our lives we can reckon without its cons. This is how we should accept realities, the system will be adopted sooner or later maybe there's some adjustment and changes that will happen but the main goals is to be more usable from the currency market, though those points that OP look upon also needs to be well taken the system itself will gain supporters and more communities interest, digital economy will embrace crypto we just need to wait and see. |

About the fact that bitcoin is dying or that bitcoin will soon destroy itself we have heard many times. All these dramatic and tragic predictions are nothing more than manipulations. I do not believe in that.
most people are almost unconvinced by the news that bitcoin will destroy itself, because the proof is not true, and they are likely to want to damage the reputation of bitcoin. so that bitcoinn decreases. continuously. |

I believe that is not going to happen because many user people are really love bitcoin and they do not let bitcoin will by itself and bitcoin also don't want. Even many countries are still not like bitcoin bitcoin to their places because they afraid and worried that they can't control bitcoin to proliferation.

No i don't think the BTC will kill itself but it could kill the paper money actually. I believe in that cryptocurrency is the new worlds payment method and it just started. We are the one who use it first. You can use Bitcoin in bad ways like crimes but you can use paper money with worst things.

Ethereum is used in hacking more than bitcoin. The only one thing to do is regulation. Because it is not logic that the hacker steal money and no one want to punish or denonciate him. When you reach platforms they tell you that they can track operations of the hackers. It is not true they must denonciate him. Crypto need rules and Security nothing else.

Bitcoin was used by some people for their illegal activities but now all of them. some of us used it on trading and some other stuffs. just like real currencies there are some people using it for crimes or what so ever. it doesn't mean that we're consuming the same currencies as them.

I think it is really possible that through this technology some can use this to do their illegal business and create danger to the humanity. But I think its the people who use this are the problem. There is nothing wrong with bitcoin and the blockchain technology. It is created to help humanity. |

yes in my opinion it is a natural thing because at first BTC was used to transact in the deepweb so that we do not know who we are transacting and are truly anonymous so that is why the government prohibits the circulation and exchange of btc, I strongly agree with you at the BTC point for buying drugs and human trafficking are right and that is what makes the government prohibit them

Nobody, no individual and no central power or government can control, manipulate, ban, hack or kill a worldwide distributed open-source peer-to-peer cryptographically secured decentralised system. Bitcoins will continue to increase in value, more than gold and silver, there will only be 21 million bitcoins ever, they are cryptographically and mathematically secured, it is decentralized, so can't be banned, co-opted or confiscated/stolen by any central group or government, you hold your own private keys.

It is the truth. Bitcoin surely has gotten a lot of support even so much now from many users now. This really pressures bitcoin on making or meeting the expectations of these people so if bitcoin fails to meet those, probably it is the end of bitcoin. But i am sure that bitcoin will upgrade itself and become much more reliable than ever. |

I think a lot of news that involves bitcoin with crime, to overcome problems like misuse of bitcoin, I think it is enough to make regulations by the government and anyone who can buy and sell bitcoin, such as requiring KYC for bitcoin users in certain countries

I think this is why we need some kind of regulations to block these bad activities using bitcoins. I agree with you we just shouldn't governments. we must try to fix gaps and lapses that available in the crypto market. Because that will help crypto field to expand further more.

how do you think bitcoin can kill itself. ? the usage of it in terms of illegal activity is left to people. all forms of curency are used for illegal activity if you dont know. so i dont see how that can kill bitcoin because its neither the fault of bitcoin nor the creator. bitcoin is getting better daily and very soon , we will see more adoption worldwide and usage.
