After the #deletefacebook, shares in stock of facebook fell heavily. Perhaps he will cancel the ban ICO in june 2018

They will cancel ban eventually, that is almost for sure. I mean, which company would refuse income, leaving ban forever would be insane move. I can understand why they banned it for now, reputation of company is important thing. But I don't see why they would ban it for good, unless we don't know the whole story (which is always the case). Facebook will survive even without crypto ads, but #deletefacebook is real threat to it. More and more people support their idea.

Keep moving on there are a lot of social media sites where we can still advertise ico well in other way Facebook is helping ICO to be known faster because many will get curious about Crypto currency as well for banning ICO ads.

I don't think it'll matter much since most people are already deleting their facebook accounts, i doubt them bringing back ICO ads would help resolve the issue.

I think Facebook's goal of banning cryptocurrency ads in its social media networks is because many cryptocurrency advertisements are associated with misleading promotions and companies with no good intentions, let alone many advertisements that offer cryptocurrency products that are not clear.

there are too many place to advertise ICOs and facebook, Twitter and Google are only few.
Yahoo isn't banning ICOs so that's an alternative.
this forum is the safest or ICOs bed of roses advertising and promotions because almost all members in this forum are crypto enthusiasts that's why signature bounty campaign mostly has higher bounty pool allocation because the signature we are wearing will catch the attention of potential investors and supporters.

Facebook adverts are not only way of advertising, don't forget there are other ways too. Even if Facebook bans ad's of crypto forever, it is not end of the world. Good projects will come out on day light just the same. Maybe a bit slower, but they won't be stopped by Facebook. Those that are stopped by it, maybe they didn't deserve to be known. Good projects with good reputation will come out sooner or later.

Yes and I saw one ICO now that will focus on that. I just forgot the name of it.  Grin
Focusing on advertising will be their service because of what facebook did to all the ICO starting companies.
Success is what I hope for them.

I am not using facebook very often, nor twitter so i dont really know what the heck is with these sites? i stopped using it a long time ago wayback 2012 because theres much spam and nudity back then, not interested to it anymore because theres no informative things in the sociamedia platform, most of the news are fake.I have heard facebook isnt getting what they want anymore, the users are starting to be inactive compare to the previous years.

Well I guess you are just like Elon Musk who didnt know a think about those social medias until recently.
They have been big companies that are worth billions of dollars.

Followed by Facebook and Twitter will prohibit the advertising of crypto currency. The Medium also blocks the accounts of those authors who write about ICO and the crypto currency. We were surrounded on all sides. Advertising projects is becoming more difficult. Who is next? YouTube?

What? I dont think Medium will do that also. That may have a filter for this for those scam ICO's only.
I will try to check this. Thanks for informing and hope it is not to happen.

Edit: None about Medium yet but this could be a good read.
https://austinstartups.com/medium-need-to-ban-stories-about-upcoming-icos-and-cryptocurrency-manipulation-7ad9f936bb5c

A filter will be good but banning everything is just too extreme. There are still genius minds out there that can really make a change.

I too believe that the Facebook ICO advert ban was harsh, they should have just set additional requirements, e.g. must have a legally registered company, must provably comply with anti-money launders and know your customer regulations etc. There is no need to lay down a blanket ban, and since the negative publicity they have received, hopefully their business goes down anyway. #deletefacebook <- Already did, as soon as I read their data collection rules.

The cry of the soul or what, maybe it will have an effect, but if after Facebook and Twitter has already imposed restrictions on advertising cryptocurrency,I think it will be a drop in the sea, unfortunately.

Guys, new blockchain projects are already being developed which are real competitors to the popular social media, and many of them are specificaly for advertizing and ICOs... for those who say that we are surrounded from all sides: it seems that you don't believe in what you do yourself. Just imagine the opportunities of decentralizzation and don't worry!

First was banning crypto currency ads specially ICO's.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/facebook-bans-cryptocurrency-ico-ads-because-of-deceptive-promotional-practices

We know its reason is to stop the scammers and also for misleading advertisements. But there are also good ones that are affected with it. Scared investors will withdraw if they see it came from a trusted or powerful person/company.

Now, #deletefacebook came. Looks like he found his rival and is somehow giving him a hard time.  Grin
What are they really? Fame whore? Facebook have been shaking the internet consecutively now. What is the purpose behind all of this? Is the money that he is receiving not yet enough from advertisements and now he wants to look cool?

https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2018/mar/23/elon-musk-delete-facebook-spacex-tesla-mark-zuckerberg

What else must the crypto world face being dragged by this? Of course we are affected, we are talking about the WWW where crypto is injected and cannot get out and we need those advertisements as far as we could to reach out those people that haven't heard a word about crypto currencies.

Will, all of this we face and encounter this previous month the banning of ICO in some different countries and now the next we encounter, the probihition of cryptocurrency in doing advertisement in facebook, google and twitter, but maybe all of this coming problem now  in digital currency they have now a come up solution, before its implemented in this coming several months, and we hope that this ban of facebook is terminated and not implemented, because we already know how important the facebook in advertising about cryptocurrency, and not deleting the facebook is the main solution of all this chaos happen in crypto world.

It's not just facebook, twitter and Google that restrict the advertising of ICO, so there's no need to be too specific about facebook.
Because, in my opinion, ICO is too chaos, so to a certain extent is normal,

Yeah, as what I have seen now that three websites are banning in ICO's ads they are deleting it, not only facebook but also google and now recently also twitter. Maybe those post or tweet that look like spam to the public they are mostly deleted on it, yeah maybe there's one reason in crypto's now chaos in cryptocurrency is maybe one factor of that.

Your statement doesn't prove anything. Facebook have large user base, but its not only place where crypto could be advertised. There are other social networks that are almost as strong as Facebook. But even if all social networks ban crypto ads, do you really think people will stop buying them? People always find a way to reach other people, why should it be any different with crypto. Also I believe that this ban is not permanent.

The blocking of ICO advertising and cryptocurrency is not the end of the world.  There are quite a lot of services and Internet resources that will advertise crypto.

Facebook is not the only social media platform that we can advertise cryptocurrency and at that Facebook banning ads which are crypto related is just a bit out of Lot's of other medium to advertise cryptocurrencies such as Twitter and all other social media and the rest of them all.
