Beyond decentralized publishing, messaging, forums and marketplace, there is a decentralized chat (p2p) planned too.

Do you want me to upload a screenshot of an article?

@bitChipper: no, it hasn't been launched yet. I've been testing it for a while.

Github code and tx timestamps will demonstrate no premine. I will reset the blockchain prior to launch.

The wallet also supports language translation.

https://ibb.co/n431n7  (all major languages covered)

So, articles in any language can be translated to another language instantly.

As mentioned, the wallet supports a marketplace as well as publishing. Think of fiverr.com without the middleman, likewise with ebay!!!

I'll upload a screen-shot later.

The wallet also supports an anonymous marketplace. For example: fiverr.com allows members to offer their digital services  - SEO, logo/graphics/web design, video production, etc - to other members. However, fiverr.com take a significant portion of each transaction. With NextWeb Coin is there is no middle-man to take a cut.

But, there is one issue: illegal content.

Recently, child pornography links were found in the BTC blockchain, which caused some backlash.

How does a new censorship-free publishing platform deal with illegal content? I’m interested in your opinions.

Thanks.

LBC Lbry credits deals with a similar issue but they have a naming system involved with their chain...that would be coin to look into for more information.

Otherwise i'm not sure there is really much you could do?

@bitChipper:

Thanks for your reply.

I've added an up/down voting system to the wallet. Once an article receives feedback below zero, by default, it won't be visible to users. So, users, including myself, will down-vote offensive/illegal content so it's not visible. But quality articles get up-voted.

Looks something different in terms of project. What about Blogs?

With some experimentation, I think you can actually integrate blogs as well. But it requires a lot of coding... something for the long-term roadmap.

Take a look a this fiverr.com ad: https://www.fiverr.com/mborgelt/be-your-seo-expert?context=adv.cat_2.subcat_65&context_type=rating&is_pro=true&pckg_id=1&pos=1&ref_ctx_id=546144b5-c606-4928-82ff-508fea759893&seller_online=true&funnel=7efde319-3b2f-4d08-8c01-a6917beac0be

Fiverr.com take a very big cut of all transactions!

But, with NextWeb Coin, there is no middleman and freelancers keep all their earnings.

Not too difficult to create a similar ad on NextWeb Coin.

Hello, kev18489! The project's idea sounds wonderful!

Can you tell me which programming language the project is being written in?

Also, when approximately are you going to release the code on GitHub?

It's ultimately a Litecoin derivative written in standard c++ with Qt.

Once it's officially launched, all code will be on Git.

Take a look at this screen-shot:

https://ibb.co/iCFFh7

It's a copy of an ad from fiverr.com: https://www.fiverr.com/email_templet/design-or-code-a-best-quality-responsive-html-email-template?context=adv.cat_10.subcat_140&context_type=rating&pckg_id=1&pos=1&ref_ctx_id=a002715b-d943-44f5-b272-d760776e6bdb&source=gallery-listing&funnel=7066e4f3-4431-42be-a473-5f94436edf34 (copyright respected)

As I mentioned yesterday, advertisements can be embedded in the blockchain very easily. As there is no censorship, I will look into options to eliminate ads for illegal goods/services.
