Really good article that I think people, especially young and new investors should read up on.

Even though that whole thread was done to promote their "super secure" wallet, it was some pretty useful information for newbies. Good share anyway Grin

It looks like a good advertising campaign for a new wallet, nothing else. They just talk about common sense instead of how their security system actually works!! How does the wallet work? What kind of encrypted do they use in their passwords? What kind of security are they really offering! They don't describe deeply what are they selling, but just talk about common sense, show some famous examples of scamming and nothing else!!
Those are enough motifs for me to be aware of this new wallet. It is just publicity. Being safe in the crypto world implies study and dedication instead of trusting on anyone that looks convincing.

simply to explain how to protect to the scammer's, do not believe what he saying for you with a good promise from the people u didn't know people in person do not transact with out any proof. but herein virtual currency or herein bitcointalk forum didn't know each other personally. trust and honesty are very importance here, i advice to all do not share give some amount of bitcoin or any altcoins to suspicious people want to get earning in the bad way.

Remember what is common sense to you is not common sense to others. This is a beginner form so this has nothing to do with "common sense" for beginners. This is an article written to embrace the issues known within the crypto community in relation to scams. I'm sure you haven't even read up on the project.

In order to deal with crypto scams, I always do research and check the reviews before even paying any attention to the further details of any new scheme. This forum is a best place to ask for help if you are not sure about investing in anything without much information. I believe that mass awareness is the only option to discourage such scams taking place under the name of crypto and damaging the perception of Bitcoin as well as the crypto industry.

It's important to remember that scamers are likely to pay cheap prices and get cheap content, or have no content. Also, have to remember that endorsements of reputable figures can be faked. Typically, reputable exchanges take their verification process seriously so if the exchange doesn’t have a verification process, it could be a scam.

What a great resource! Thank you for sharing it. I will definitely bookmark it, and I think I might share it in a standalone thread.

The article on how to spot a scam is very thorough, even better than the lead article in this thread, though that article is decent.
http://www.badbitcoin.org/tips/index.htm

It's worth just perusing the list of the many scam sites they have labeled as such. For one, you get a strong feel for how similar they all are to each other.
