I would say either next year, or 2020. That's when the markets usually rebound from a dump.

For alts to start to climb, bitcoin needs to start climbing. Once bitcoin starts to climb, then alts will follow and even outpace the growth of bitcoin. I just don't see this happening this year with the new regulations and bans and all that negative stuff being covered in the media about bitcoin, even though nothing has really changed. This is why I think it'll take around 1-2 years for markets to completely recover and go into bullish mode here.

This is not the first time I read this hypothesis. Even Ian Balina thinks like you. I think you are comparing this crisis with 2013 crisis. I am afraid this could be true. But I am more optimistic about the near future of the crypto
1- More people are aware of the crypto with regard to 2013 and more people are investing.
2- More people are using crypto with regard to 2013 and the numbers are increasing each day.

why not take now some altcoin you see cheap and see some time in the week the price will grow up 1% to 5%, currently do not play on long term you can take advantage in the short term

Actually price movement is unpredictable. Whether a coin decreases or increases for me is meaningless. I will take a direct decision to buy a coin and then I sell the coin when I get the profit margin from the buy and sell the coin. Yes I apply fast and short time, because I always think that when we wait too long then we do not necessarily get big profits. Better to get a little profit, but can be stable and instens continuous every time.

Make sure we have a strategy in choosing a coin and make sure we dare to take any decision at any time quickly and accurately.
Waiting is not a sure thing to make a profit !!

Indeed short term investments or daily trading do not generate much profit, but our assets continue to grow. I also trade daily and from the profits 25% I will invest for the long term, I really like to do both.

Bumping the price in the altcoins is normal but bitcoin bumps means that is correction or price growth of the complete market that is how we can take it mate. I would say we can wait for more than 2 months two months from now.
From June month onwards we use to see some price bump and fluctuation in the market bro.
Hope we may wait until June as the price graph indicates.

The problem is that many are thinking that the bear market is only because of bitcoin but the truth is that the whole market has been affected by the bears, so not only bitcoin is not growing but altcoins are not growing as well, having a more positive sentiment for bitcoin will help altcoins in the long run but not immediately as we have seen many times, when the price of bitcoin goes up the altcoins follow but a few weeks later and sometimes even months later.

Not sure about the news and rumour has driven everything right now even the bitcoin market can be manipulated by all parties. But the only reason that gives a huge impact to the crypto right now is the google and twitter news about cryptocurrency advertisement.

It can be really difficult to know exactly what is going to happen in the market the best we can do is to speculate and while I will like to see an immediate recovery at the same time that is unrealistic and in the best case scenario we are going to see recovery in a few months but the scenario which the recovery takes a year or more is entirely possible.

I think that closer to the summer, we'll still see the price of bitcoins around 5000. Then there will be a period of outset and growth by autumn. September-October will begin to be tightened to bitcoin and altcoins
