I'm not seeing that. In stock, yes. But $400 for a RX 580 with a 'free' riser is not a deal. LOL I bought a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 8GB card for $279 from Newegg last December.

When they become really cheap, we won't want to buy them anymore.

We only buy them when it's profitable and the deals are never good then.

I bought "some" rx 480 nitro+ 8GB cards for 215$ in 2016 Smiley ...i had to buy a few rx 580 8GB, nitro special edition cards this year, price was close to 800$ not to long ago ... So i see price is way down, im sure its going to be cheaper soon Smiley and now i can not see a lot of "sold out" or "on back order"  sign on newegg Smiley

I like this trend. Also due to NVIDIA will announce Ampere GPUs soon I hope to buy some new GPUs at adequatelly price (like 400-450 USD for GTX1070 a year ago). Of course mining profitability now is closer and closer to operational cost (i.e. electricity, cooling and so on) but last two years it was high enough.  So that reserve could be enough until next bubble in 2021-2022 year. An for me now the best strategy is "HOLD as much as POSSIBLE"

It is still 50% more usd than used to be before the surge. RX 580 before the surge was $300, now $400.

still the prices are really high, while profits from mining are really low
yes, they can go even lower, but what we have now is also not very fun at all!
and miners who bought the cars in January or February they will have like 2 years ROI now I guess with current profits.
if only bitcoin will jump to 20-25k, that could help them to ROI their cards faster..

Moreover they smell worse and can crumble to dust immediately after buying. I sold several R9 380 and 970 GPUs last months and some really thought so

they run lower fps because of the bios mod, specially if well done in downclocking.

The cards will do the exact same fps as new even if they've been mining for two years. But this does also depend on the "care" you take about them, temps, voltage, etc....

I would buy myself cards any day of the year for gaming.

BTC no more than 6k by end of 2019. ETH no more than 300$ by end 2019. Huge market manipulation, huge amount of scammers and hypers.

I dont know if we're living in the same world, but the RX 470s used to sell for sub 200 dollars around this time last year. You call 330 dollars for an RX 570 cards getting cheaper?

Hell I've seen the rx 570 armor sell for sub 150 on newegg . . . long gone are these days
