Are there any members here with an immediate interest in setting up a bitcoin marketplace? I've been working on an open source project which hopes to make this process simple, and which works out of the box.

What sort of features would you be interested in seeing? What features would you absolutely require before using any such software?

I could post about what this code already does and try to appeal to people that way, but I want this project to have input from more than just myself and the regulars. So, assuming the core concept is a bitcoin marketplace, what would you expect it to do?

For those curious about what I have already covered, check out here: http://bitwasp.tk/index.php?topic=4. But really I'd love to hear new impressions on what I should be doing.

A bitcoin marketplace like bitmit.net and coingig.com?
Or is it an entirely different idea?

Entirely different. I'm writing software that anyone can use to set up a marketplace (like BitMit), but on their own server. So they can set up a personal marketplace to accept bitcoins in exchange for goods, without relying on any 3rd parties. It also has an escrow feature for larger sites.

So like OpenCart style site with BTC plugin for payments.
