According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Absolutely! These people either work in a bank or are FBI shills. Unfortunately, when people don't understand something or if it goes against their "normal" lifestyle - they reject it completely, start foaming at the mouth & then go into a spiralling meltdown while typing expletives on replies to such articles.......

There really is no need to insult people here, better to keep it to yourself if you don't fully understand a comment

I was a bit surprised the BC liberals are really Conservatives in disguise That said I would argue that their are reasons to put it in Vancouver there are quite a few bitcoin startup companies there It is also the shipping location for some AM miners
That said some those comments are really uninformed ignorance is bliss after all

I want to see some more of those stupid bankster apes pounding sand, hard, around a Bitcoin ATM obelisk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9woRJ7-mD7YSomeone like to do a bit of video editing and substitute in the Bitcoin ATM for the obelisk in this clip? ... would make a great spoof-ad for them too Edit: it would be good to know what happens to the palm scan database ... if it is to limit tx to $3000 per 24hr then supposedly they can purge it daily?

Can't wait to go check it out and make use of it since it's probably more convenient than dealing with some of the online exchanges.

I know, right? Seriously, they don't even have to use it if they want to. They act like the machine "creates" Bitcoin.
