I would get some profit atleast half of it and invest it on other coins that has alot of criteria or announcements. Actually my first goal of investing is reading their website and throwing some money to get reward afterwards.

Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.
Thoughts? What would you do?
Don't be greedy or you might regret it. Sell it righ away because you already gain a huge amount of money why would you wait then? |

This is too big a spread of 160%. You need to watch how many percent. But if increased by 100 % , I would take 80 % profit And the rest left. It would have a chance to continue to grow and earn even more

I don't think this is a good idea. After all, short-term big gains are hard to meet. I likeIt is many times faster than Ethereum, Just like CyberMiles ，and its own network is about to test, indicating that the project is basically completed and will be promoted after the test is completed. to lay out high-quality projects. we have this experience in the last year in July 2017 because every coin in the market getting increase and for me, it is the best time to sell my coin and take my profit. we don't have any chance to see the increase is about more than 40%-200% in short time so it is better to sell in that time so we can wait for the price to back down again and we can buy another amount. but I don't sell all of my coins and I will hold a small part of each coin so I can sell it only if the price can increase higher again.

You know, first of all, it depends on the coin, market situation, news and the project itself. There could be even more rise if everything is good, all you need to do is to just analyze and know that if there is small loss, it might just be the correction of the value.

One time, my GRS went up by 400% but I was actually asleep so I didn’t act on it. But I would have sold it if I had the chance because it dumped back down and I could only sell it for 100% increase. It is of course good to have 100% gain but 400% is much better so I wish I sold at that price. Sometimes you see a good project having strong recovery like ICX and EOS. However, they are pretty rare.

If i got a fast 100% - 200% gain in a night,i would secure my initial investment so that i wont be risking any amount,the other half will be hold if the coin is really worthy to hold if not i am going to take all of my profits ,
because if this golden opportunity is missed then another opportunity may take time or it may increase to this level again,so when such situation occur its best to sell and wait for a time when its value is low and buy again.

If it is from 20% to 60% than just sit back and be happy.
If it has pumped more than 60%, then definitely sell.
Any asset that rises that fast in value is unsustainable, this not just in crypto but in other investments as well.
There could be a lot of reasons for the pump: an announcement, a milestone was hit, a group is pumping it, whales are manipulating the price.
But whatever the case it definitely won't be able to sustain that for much longer, not even another day.
So, just sell it all for btc, than wait a couple days to a week when the price comes down, and rebuy the same coin.
You can easily double the amount of that coin you have in a couple days.
That is what hodling is all about.
Yes, you will get profits by just buying and keeping it.
But your overall goal should be to get even more of a particular coin you believe in.
You can do this by doing the sell high buy low method, taking out a percentage of your income each month to buy the coin, make strategic day trades, etc.

well it depends on how long are your targets for that coin if you are short term trader it means a lot so close your trade and wait for the next dip to enter a new trade, or invest it in a different channel like stocks but don't forget to have it planned before buying other crypto or stocks. When you are a long term trader this is a good sign for you because your coin is performing well and you might profit big when you close your trades far from now.

You are right, 200% increased in value is a big opportunity to get much profit as well as getting back first our investment cap safely. We should always think wisely in terms of profit because bitcoin is very volatile and unpredictable in condition. In this way you'll be gaining already and nothing to worry when the situation get lost and deteriorated. |

That is a good idea, but 40% is very small amount, I do think that if there is only 40 percent, anyway you have to leave it, at least until 92%.

Depends on the project and the dynamics of the price of the token. If this is the first growth, then probably the best solution is to sell at least part of the coins (50-70%), 200% is a very good income. If the project pumped, then it's bad decision to wait for top, it is worth sell, dividing into several parts and with each step to increase the price a little.
